Destino Indomable is good but has some notable flaws. With a slightly longer story and more weight to your decisions, this could have been a must-play visual novel. The telenovela concept is great, and I hope to see more in the future. But for now, this is one show you're likely not to pick up.

Who knew that bringing the telenovela format to a digital narrative could work out to be pretty entertaining?

Destino Indomable is a visual novel with an incredible idea of exploring the Latin telenovela context. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot to be desired, with a shallow and poorly directed story and the shame to embrace the silliness of the genre in a non-ironic way. Along with subpar technical aspects, the result is a work that, while it may please some readers, doesn't manage to actually show the beauty of a good telenovela.

Destino Indomable successfully distills the essence of a telenovela into an interactive gaming experience. It is a delightful homage to the genre, complete with over-the-top characters, juicy drama, and engaging storylines. Though its technical aspects, such as animations and UI, leave room for improvement, the game’s charm and narrative richness make it a worthwhile experience for fans of melodramatic storytelling. If you’re looking for a lighthearted escape into the world of love, betrayal, and family intrigue, this game might just be your ideal pick.

For those who want to live in their flesh a soap opera full of clichés and stereotypes, no doubt they are in front of their game. This is a very direct visual-novel that does not beat around the bush.

With the commendable boldness of mixing the format of visual novels with the language of Latin telenovelas, Destino Indomable has a passionate idea limited by all the barriers of the genre and the lack of diegetic resources that could explore all that is best and most cheesy in this genre, so recognizable, especially for those of us who grew up watching these productions on TV every day.
