Launch Window“DuneCrawl is a unique, creative start to 2026. It’s not flawless, and some players may find the controls and difficulty inconsistencies a bit fiddly. But what it offers is a sandbox adventure that feels fresh, inventive, and willing to take risks. Driving a giant crab across a hostile desert while upgrading your gear and reclaiming territory is as enjoyable as it sounds. For players looking for something different, especially with friends, DuneCrawl is well worth your time. It’s a game I can easily see myself returning to, just to wander the sands and see what trouble my crab can get into next.”

Launch Window“DuneCrawl is an interesting game that blends together giant crab combat, dungeoneering and multiplayer shenanigans. It's fun enough, but I really wish it did a little bit more with the more unusual aspects of its game design.”

Launch Window“DuneCrawl is an exceptional open-world exploration game that allows players to indulge in the fantasy of piloting giant crab war machines. While lacking a bit in exciting progression mechanics and harder to engage with as a solo player, this game is otherwise solid all around and has an incredible fantasy world and visual aesthetic.”

Launch Window“DuneCrawl is an ambitious indie experiment that shines in concept and style but stumbles in consistency: visually striking and cleverly designed, it soon reveals repetitive gameplay, weak AI, and an experience clearly built for chaotic co-op with friends rather than solo play, making its giant cannon-backed crab and appealing arsenal fun in theory, but best enjoyed with others.”
