Defense Grid 2 is an award-winning tower defense strategy game. A horde of enemies is invading and stealing your cores, now it's up to you to stop them by strategically building towers at your base. The controls are intuitive, the gameplay is deep, and you’ll find yourself refining your strategies for hours on end. Now on Nintendo Switch you can defend the cores wherever, whenever. Defense Grid 2 for Nintendo Switch includes the latest updates and improvements from the original as well as new enhancements for the Nintendo Switch. CAMPAIGN DG2 features a 26-mission campaign and includes the newest installment DG2: Aftermath, an additional 5-mission chapter. COOPERATIVE Play the campaign locally with a friend in 2 Player Story Mode or work with a friend to stop the alien waves in 2 Player Coordinated Defense Mode. DIFFICULTY Four different difficulty levels are designed for players of all skill levels. LEADERBOARDS Fight for the top spot on the Global Leaderboards or compete among your friends on the Friends Leaderboards. TOWER UPGRADES Unlock more than 40 tower upgrades each with 5 power levels. Customize your loadout to try different strategies. SPECIAL WEAPONS Unlock and equip 6 different AI each with a unique special weapon. Each weapon has a powerful ability; choose wisely as you can only have one AI equipped in your loadout. CHALLENGE MODES Ten unique challenge modes that provide additional fun. Players can compete on the leaderboards for the top spots! ACHIEVEMENTS More than 40 local achievements add additional challenge goals. VOICE CAST Defense Grid 2 features a full cast of top voice actors and is localized for English, French, German, and Spanish.
