Hydrofoil Generation is the realistic and exciting sailing and foiling simulator from Indie developer Jaxx Vane Studio. A passion project created by Stefano "kunos" Casillo co-founder of Kunos Simulazioni, the globally acclaimed developer behind the racing simulation masterpiece Assetto Corsa. In Hydrofoil Generation you will sit at the helm of state-of-the-art engineering marvels modeled with unprecedented physical accuracy, sailboats that can "fly" over water to speeds over 50kn. Take control of the course, the sails trim and, most important, the foils. Keep your boat flying as high as possible to maximize speed but not so high to risk coming down with a splash or worse, as capsizing is just around the corner. Deal with changing winds, different sea conditions, currents and up to 10 opponents in fierce multiplayer races. Hydrofoil Generation is a demanding simulator that will push your skills and passion to the limit. For an even fuller gameplay experience, Hydrofoil Generation now features official Global Racing League SailGP content including SailGP’s flying F50 catamarans and liveries: these high-tech, hydrofoiling F50’s are capable of speeds close to 100 km/h and are now available to race in this super accurate first-person simulation of multiplayer "in-shore" regattas. THE VESSELS: F50 Is a one-design foiling catamaran used in the SailGP race series, capable of speeds close to 100 km/h. Jx50 A 50ft modern foiling catamaran capable of speeds of up to 50kn. Jx40 A 40ft modern foiling monohull with automatic systems for ride height control. You will be able to race these boats in several exciting locations such as Chicago, Den Haag, Hong Kong and Bermuda, with carefully recreated coastlines.
