When Mother Nature speaks to you... will you listen? Set in early 1900s England, Secrets In Green is a historical slice of life/horror visual novel with an intriguing mystery. CONTENT WARNING: THIS GAME EXPLORES THEMES OF MENTAL ILLNESS, AND DEPICTS MOMENTS OF MILD THREAT AND VIOLENCE THAT SOME MAY FIND DISTURBING. Our protagonist, Alma, is sent to a cottage in the countryside to recover from an unfortunate episode of mental illness. As a lover of plants, she finds peace tending to the overgrown garden on the property. However, while admiring the large ivy growing across its fence, she discovers a leaf bearing a single written word - hello. Naturally, her father and carer brush it off as nothing but a hallucination - a symptom of her hysteria. Little do they know that this message is very, very real. Alma must now fight a battle that has been fought again and again throughout history - the struggle of making yourself heard and respected as a female in a very male dominated world, in a period of history where women were downtrodden and dismissed. Can she solve the mystery before it's too late?
