His real invention, the Speakbreaker, can rewire the human brain to erase all languages—except Russian. And someone’s planning to use it. To stop this linguistic apocalypse, our detective must travel across time itself—from the prehistoric age to the French Revolution, and even a dystopian Russian-controlled future. Along the way, he’ll interrogate weirdos, solve absurd puzzles, and quite possibly change the course of history.
