“Forgotten but Unbroken comes with an interesting setting and an ambitious concept that promises a combination of turn-based action and strategy building. Unfortunately, it suffers from a lack of variety, a weaker story and dated graphics. Stable optimization and quality audio do lift the game, but they are not enough to overcome its repetitive gameplay and other shortcomings.”

“Much like the original, 420BLAZEIT 2: GAME OF THE YEAR -=Dank Dreams and Goated Memes=- [#wow/11 Like and Subscribe] Poggerz Edition is packed with self-aware humour and callbacks to what now feels like ancient relics from the internet’s past. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find a competent shooter with a variety of creative weapons and decent level design with all sorts of secrets to find. It is remarkable how the team behind the game managed to capture the magic that made the original Game Jam title so fun and whacky, whilst building on it and making it a fully fledged game an entire decade later.”

“Divine Dynamo Flamefrit is like a playable version of your standard milquetoast seasonal anime. It’s short and doesn’t do anything to really upset me, but it also lacks any real sense of risk taking or depth. While in the moment, it can provide mild fun, it never once really becomes anything more than that because of how it never evolves and remains so simple. It also feels short on ideas despite its length, with repetitive stage design and few enemy types, with only the boss battles feeling like they got some originality injected into them. Even putting those aside, its aesthetic, music, and story are all quite bland, leaning so hard into its inspirations that it can’t really stand on its own two feet. A bad game? Not really, but even as of writing this, I’ve already forgotten about most of it.”

Questioning the folk of the Merrylin Crater Camp and scouring for evidence is delightfully simple, and the pivotal time mechanic creates an incredible sense of urgency that’s often lacking in crime games.
