“With the reassuring familiarity of bright colours and pixelated characters, Legends of Heropolis DX is fun to play. Like so many of the Kairosoft games, you need to find the gameplay loop of developing the city, levelling up your superheroes and battling in order to achieve victory. I thoroughly enjoyed fighting alongside the other heroes in Legends of Heropolis DX and finding my inner superhero.”

“Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is a masterpiece of roguelike gaming. Impossible to put down, stellar soundtrack and visual design, as well as just being a load of fun. While some games have taken this formula and recontextualised it, the original does it best. Hop in and play as a vampire-killing badass. Highly recommended for Castlevania fans and anyone looking for a fun time. Perfect winter season gaming!”

“While the picture is fun, it should be noted that the game is actually short. I completed it in less than 15 minutes, along with all the Steam achievements. It was longer than expected because I spent about half of that time looking for one single cat. I firmly believe that games like that need to have a hint button. Much like the previous game in the series, 100 Hidden Cats: Kitty House 2 is a short and sweet hidden object game. If you need something concise, this might be the game for you.”

“Hidden Capybaras with Orange and Pumpkins: Spooky Halloween Edition is a brief but fantastic little game about finding capybaras in a little Halloween town. It has no timers, but a fast-recharging hint, nice soundtrack, and one big scene, full of heart and humor, make the whole game a great relaxing experience. And if that is not enough, it’s a free game. I hope the developers have a new capybara game in the works, for I can’t wait for the next one.”
