Antonio Benítez at Chicas Gamers

Feb 23, 2026 | Score 79

“Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on Switch 2 doesn’t reinvent the experience, but it refines it where it needed it most. The jump to 60fps transforms the flow of combat and exploration, making the ambitious world of Mira feel more stable and enjoyable than ever. It remains a demanding and uncompromising JRPG, but for those who connect with its science-fiction setting and systemic freedom, this is without a doubt the best way to experience it today.”

Lyon Saluchi at GameBlast

Feb 26, 2026 | Score 75

“WiZmans World Re;Try is a charming dungeon-crawling JRPG remaster whose real hook is the Anima Fusion system, letting you absorb defeated monsters to evolve and customize your three homunculi with new stats, skills, and even looks. Combat is turn-based and easy to read thanks to a clear timeline and a simple elemental cycle, rewarding smart chaining and efficient planning. With modern quality-of-life features and an upgraded presentation, it’s a great pick for players who enjoy experimentation and party building—though the fusion micromanagement and dungeon-heavy pacing may not click with everyone.”

“Unfortunately, despite me really wanting to like and recommend NORSE: Oath of Blood, it seemed to fight me at every turn. There is something here that I hope will eventually be great. Perhaps in a few more months, after a handful of patches, this can be something good, because the foundation is there. Combat is fun, and there is a nice variety of moves and combinations with the attacks. While I would like a bit more freedom with the base building, I can see how a more streamlined version would appeal to some. However, none of this can shine in the state it is currently in.”
