Guillaume Dreher at TryAGame!

Feb 21, 2026 | Score 90

“Ride 6 is already the best 2-wheel driving experience that has been offered in years. What a pleasure to walk all these circuits on different motorcycles, offering changing, but always exhilarating, driving sensations. The move to the Unreal Engine 5 makes the experience all the more credible and immersive, with special care for each motorcycle. And we can only be satisfied with the RIDE Fest mode which allows game sessions far from being repetitive thanks to the permanent choice of races that we are offered. Ride 6 is positioned well as the reference of motorcycle games and we can only congratulate Milestone for the work accomplished.”

“BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a solid roguelite, and its replay value makes it worth the price. However, in a more objective assessment, it suffers from minor quality dips in some areas, such as reused sprites, a visual modification detrimental to the original design, and music that doesn't quite match the game's rhythm and is weak compared to other games, preventing it from standing out as spectacular in a competitive genre.”

“I wanted to like Tokyo Scramble so much. A Switch 2 exclusive horror with dinosaurs and a generous dose of that sweet, sweet jank is exactly something I can get behind. Trust me, I can somewhat look beyond janky visuals and horrendous sound, but what I can’t get beyond is just how devoid of fun this game is. It’s stiff, awkward, and restricting, much like the undercity in the game, which is the nicest thing I can say about this one. Tokyo Scramble is a scrambled mess of poor choices and bad gameplay, and I couldn’t recommend this one to even the most seasoned horror jank veterans.”

“Overall, Relooted is a unique hybrid of puzzle-platforming, infiltration strategy, and momentum runner with a historically informed geopolitical narrative. That sounds like a lot. because it is a lot. This game is incredibly ambitious, both thematically and mechanically, so even though it is not a triumph on all occasions, it really does punch above its weight for a small South African studio. Shallow in some parts more than others, yet incredibly provocative throughout, this game increased my respect for global cultures and broadened my western lens on African archaeology and anthropology.”

“The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest on Nintendo Switch is a meticulously built yet curiously lifeless micro-metroidvania, where, despite the controls being super-sharp and its pixel art vibrant, the adventure feels boxed in. Repetitive rooms, shallow exploration, and a brief runtime make it resemble a neat demo instead of the real deal.
