“It's impressive that, considering its mix of two very different genres, Crown Gambit very rarely missteps. Through the ten or so hours I spent with Crown Gambit, there were very few moments were I wasn't completely invested in the fate of Meodred. With fast-paced storytelling and a unique card system, this is a fascinating addition to your tactical combat collection, provided you can survive all that backstabbing.”

“Awita: Journey of Hope is visually beautiful and delivers responsive controls and fluid animations. In other words, it has the solid skeleton of a good metroidvania, but it lacks substance to cover those thin bones. The lack of content in terms of systems, level design and items is further mitigated by its short length, as the game ends before the player gets tired of it. Without something to compensate for its shortcomings, there is nothing to make it reach the average of the genre.”

“Unlike the original Shadowverse, which was known for its free-to-play generosity, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond currently lacks that same accessibility. Players can still get a lot out of the game, but its monetization model and the new liquefy system are different and, frankly, less player-friendly. This is especially disheartening considering how much the original's accessibility contributed to its widespread appeal. Worlds Beyond retains the core Shadowverse experience fans love, with added mechanics and the more personalized Shadowverse Park, but it feels like it's lost some of its soul to the pursuit of profit.”

“"A chaotic birth of luck and revenge." Lost in Random: The Eternal Die achieves the difficult task of transforming a traditional narrative experience into a vibrant roguelike adventure without losing its soul. Stormteller Games has redefined the essence of the series with faster combat, a clever balance between skill and randomness, and music and voice acting that immerse the player in a world of luck and fate. Despite some technical flaws and limited repetition, the overall experience is deep, enjoyable, and well worth the time. It's an adventure that combines agile combat with gothic symbolism, proving that risk can be the most beautiful form of creativity.”

It’s a fun ride, I liked the story, and I’m always happy for any excuse to spend time in the world of TRON.
