“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still a masterpiece, even after eight years. While the shrines, lack of proper dungeons, frustrating difficulty with the DLCs, and odd choices with the Switch 2 version can pull players away from the immersive experience, the narrative, gameplay, extra content, and improved visuals on Switch 2 more than make up for any low points. The legacy of Breath of the Wild has persevered for nearly a decade, and for good reason. “So what Fast Fusion really ended up feeling like is an update over Fast RMX, with just a handful of new elements added to the mix to make it stand out as something more than just a remaster or a definitive edition. That being said, it retains a superb core gameplay loop, and once again Shin’en proved they can handle Nintendo hardware better than even Nintendo themselves. As one of the very few Switch 2 exclusives so far (hell, Switch 2 games in general, even), it’s an easy recommendation.”

“Despite its name, Survival Kids on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a calm, colorful experience with little real survival pressure. Its gameplay revolves around gathering resources, cooking, managing stamina, and solving small puzzles, all of which reinforce a light sense of adventure across the game’s isometric island environments. While new mechanics like crafting a fishing hook or brief platforming segments add some variety, the game starts to feel a bit repetitive after a few hours. The $50 price tag feels steep for something this straightforward, but its local and online multiplayer modes offer a cheerful, family-friendly experience.”
