“The first instalment in a planned trilogy, The Fall does a respectable job at feeling complete while setting up upcoming entries. Although shorter than most adventures, the length does work in its benefit, as the slow pacing would likely overstay its welcome in a longer journey. Worth noting, the pacing is by no means perfect, with the ending coming off feeling especially rushed, but the rest of the experience makes good use of a slow, methodical approach. Atmospheric and appropriately lonely, with enough narrative weight to think on, this makes for some enjoyable point-and-click fun.”

“This is a game that may not be for everyone - but it really should be played by most. It is an amazing story that’s been wonderfully realised, it is powerful, and scary, and really makes you think. I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream has top notch voice acting and the biggest problem that plagues it is easily alleviated with modern access to guides. I highly recommend experiencing this at least once, but I also recommend the original short story and listening to some Harlan Ellison interviews as well. I look forward to revisiting this in another ten years.”

“Sports: Renovations isn’t a bad game—but it’s definitely one you play with Netflix on. Instructions are vague, the story is easy to skip, and even finishing your main goal early earns no acknowledgment. There’s solid voice acting and some charm in the radio broadcasts, but most players will miss it while zoning out or playing their own music. There's no reward for creativity, and your effort rarely matters. I’m not sure who the target audience is—sports fans or dad game fans—but merging the two doesn’t quite land. Still, if you just want something low-pressure to unwind with (and you dodge the glitches), it’s a decent time-waster.”

“Twilight Monk is undoubtedly a solid game, especially considering it is the first major project from Aquatic Moon Games following their debut with IKEDA. Its artistic direction, diverse enemy roster, fluid animations, and a straightforward yet self-aware narrative stand out as clear strengths. The level design and map structure are meticulously crafted, showcasing how the studio has adeptly internalized the lessons of the great classics, achieving a well-balanced interplay between portals, save points, and the strategic placement of items and secrets. This all reflects a meticulous attention to world-building. Conversely, the gameplay feels somewhat unrefined, with promising concepts that are not fully realized and certain naïve design choices that can easily undermine an otherwise fundamentally simple game system. Although the combat mechanics are notably weaker—particularly when measured against the benchmark set by recent standout titles—this does not entirely diminish the overall experience, which remains enjoyable. Twilight Monk certainly serves as a good entry point for newcomers to the genre and offers a pleasant pastime for enthusiasts, provided they are willing to accept a modest difficulty level and some roughness in its execution.”

“Finishing KARMA: The Dark World leaves a lasting, visceral impression- a psychological weight that persists beyond the credits, compelling reflection on the game’s themes. The experience does not cater to instant gratification or easy approval; it aims to leave a profound and enduring mark, even if that means discomfort or unease. The game stands out for its rare artistic cohesion and the courage with which it sustains an uncompromising auteur vision. Its combination of fragmented, ambiguous narrative, oppressive world-building, and minimalist gameplay creates an experience that transcends conventional entertainment, leaning toward introspective and conceptual engagement. Players often feel more like observers than participants; yet this apparent passivity is integral to the work’s message, amplifying the intended sense of helplessness and alienation. Limitations, such as occasional visual repetition or a restricted range of interactions, are secondary to the overall impact. KARMA: The Dark World demands attentiveness, patience, and emotional sensitivity. It rewards those who embrace its slow, contemplative rhythm, immersive observation, and reflective engagement. Its power lies in evoking psychological tension and unease without resorting to cheap tricks or gratuitous visual shocks, relying instead on atmosphere, sound, and symbolism. It is an imperfect work, perhaps, but profoundly honest and raw, expressing something deeply personal and authentic. The final sequence is particularly memorable, capable of unsettling, moving, and resonating on an intimate emotional level. In an increasingly homogenized gaming landscape, KARMA: The Dark World stands out as a rare, intense, and indispensable experience for those seeking not just entertainment, but meaningful engagement.”

“Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is a very unique game, to say the least. It takes the 2D action gameplay Inti Creates is known for and mixes it with that of a Metroidvania. The gameplay itself is fast and fluid, and the two main characters cover both ranged and melee-based playstyles. It can be played solo by switching between characters on the fly, or in co-op with a friend. Bosses are unique and challenging, but even the normal enemies can easily take you out if you aren’t careful. Transferring perks between picked-up items lets you customize your character’s stats to your liking, and unlocking new abilities is a lot of fun as well. Everything about this core gameplay is spot on and makes Servants of the Dark a joy to play; it is pretty much everything a fan of 2D action games could ask for! However, the rough edges are what makes playing the game a challenge at times.”
