However, despite its imperfections, Total Chaos can get under your skin and stay there. It's not flashy, it's not polished, but it's a horror game that makes you feel and tremble, question and survive.

Republic of Pirates' focus on establishing settlements, which soon grow to the size of small towns, and expanding our reach across the map makes for a very entertaining gameplay loop.

In short, Reus 2 is an intelligent and contemplative “become a god” game that draws you in as you play.

What Diamond Hands: To The Moon sets out to do, it does well, but without fanfare. It's an addictive and fun game that will keep you entertained and frustrated in equal measure.

In 9 Years of Shadows, the mix of combat, puzzles, and musical mechanics can be truly amazing at times. It may not reinvent the genre and it may have some significant flaws, but fans of the Metroidvania genre will probably enjoy the experience.

Preserve offers a fantastic blend of strategy and relaxation. Its unique mechanics, combined with beautiful technical and artistic design and a relaxing soundtrack, make it a standout title in the puzzle genre. While it may not revolutionize the genre, it stands out for offering a satisfying and meditative gaming experience. For those looking to relax while putting their strategic thinking to the test, Preserve is a highly recommended title.

Too bad this enjoyable extra adventure looks like it's going to be Vess and Nix's last. It looks like Star Wars Outlaws didn't meet sales expectations, so unless the absolutely fabulous folks at LucasFilm give them a reprieve, we may not see this dynamic duo again in a future sequel.

Empyreal is a testament to Silent Games' ambition, offering an interesting mix of rogue-lite, souls-like combat and action RPG. While it excels in certain areas, such as combat variety and setting, it also has narrative and gameplay problems.

Pilo and the Holobook is an interesting journey through a universe that grabs you by the eye thanks to its cool artwork. It focuses more on discovery and puzzle solving than combat, which is a nice change of pace and appeals to players looking for a more contemplative gaming experience. While it may not satisfy those looking for action, its strength lies in its ability to inspire curiosity and wonder at a more leisurely pace.

Petit Island is a nice and quiet experience, perfect to intersperse with some other game. However, there are small things that make it not the rounded experience it could have been. Nevertheless, it is a highly recommendable title for fans of this genre that is so fashionable at the moment.

Admittedly, I have not yet been able to complete a game of Luck be a Landlord. I haven't come up with a solid strategy yet, but I'm getting further and further each time. Even if you don't make it, it's a lot of fun to play. The only downside, unlike a game of the style like Balatro, is that luck is a very important factor when playing. Recommended to give it a chance, as it is deceptively deep and addictive in its gameplay.

The games in RoboDunk are simple and fun, but the chaos that forms on certain tracks can be overwhelming. Its slow pace of play may not be to everyone's liking, but if you are patient you will have a fun time.

It must be said: the version of the game is 0.8, so strictly speaking the game is in Early Access although when you buy it they don't tell you anywhere. Another clue is that it also has no achievements that can give me clues that there is an ending, or a finality.

I think anyone who likes RPGs or narrative adventure games should play VED. It's one of the best indie titles of this year and has more than enough gameplay mechanics and ideas to justify its purchase in its 7 hours of average length. It's also a visual treat that hits you right in the eye from minute 1.

The addition of a two-player mode and other improvements greatly enhance the Aaero formula, but ultimately it's not a sequel that's going to revolutionize anything. Aaero2 brings us more songs that will delight fans...
