JDM Japanese Drift Master delivers outstanding drifting mechanics, great style, and a strong JDM vibe, making sideways driving genuinely exciting. However, outside of drift-focused gameplay, the experience feels limited, with weak traditional racing modes and long load times. A must-play for drift enthusiasts, but less appealing for those seeking a full racing package.

Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack is one of the best ways to step into the series. It offers three complete JRPGs, a refined alchemy system, and an excellent third chapter that stands out. A few technical limitations persist, but overall it’s a solid and worthwhile package for newcomers.

Earthion is a love letter to the golden age of 16-bit shooters. Developed by Ancient and composed by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro, it delivers tight controls, stunning pixel art, and an unforgettable synth soundtrack. Its upgrade system adds real depth to classic shoot ’em up gameplay, balancing accessibility and challenge. Short but perfectly crafted, Earthion proves that pure design and style still matter more than photorealism.

Strange Antiquities expands the world of Undermere with a deeper identification system, clever puzzles, and a haunting atmosphere. Building on the foundations of Strange Horticulture, it offers more variety, refined mechanics, and meaningful player choices. A slightly weak Italian localization holds it back, but for fans of narrative-driven puzzle games, this is a must-play.

The Mildew Children delivers a haunting atmosphere and a story full of ritual and mystery. Strong narrative and replayability shine, but clunky QTEs and lack of localization hold it back.

The Edge of Allegoria is a retro turn-based RPG filled with dark humor and satire. Its weapon mastery system is clever, though balance issues and grinding keep it from greatness.

Dear Me, I Was is a short interactive drama by Arc System Works that tells the story of a woman's life through emotional, hand-painted visuals and subtle point-and-click mechanics. Using rotoscoped animation and watercolor art, the game blends narrative and visual storytelling in a unique, deeply personal way. Though minimal in gameplay, every interaction carries emotional weight, making it a heartfelt reflection on memory, loss, and the beauty of everyday life. It’s not for those seeking action, but for players open to unconventional storytelling, it’s a powerful, unforgettable experience.

Survival Kids on Nintendo Switch 2 offers a light, family-friendly take on the survival genre. With colorful visuals and co-op support, it delivers a fun but repetitive experience focused on crafting and exploration. Ideal for casual play, especially with friends, though it lacks depth for hardcore fans.

Forever Skies offers a calm, atmospheric take on the survival genre. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it delivers a satisfying loop of exploration, crafting, and progression — all centered around a well-designed airship that feels like a true companion. It lacks technical polish and suffers from repetitive environments, but its mood, pacing, and accessibility make it a worthy experience for those seeking a slower, more meditative survival journey.

Moons of Darsalon knows exactly what it wants to offer: a modern experience inspired by retro gaming. However, this nature makes it a niche product, not suitable for all players. The high difficulty, unreliable AI, and some technical limits might discourage less patient players. On the other hand, those who love challenges and references to '80s classics will find a small independent gem in this game.

Taito Milestones 3 is a nostalgic celebration, offering a genuine journey into the golden age of arcades. The game selection is among the best in the series, with classics like Bubble Bobble and Rastan Saga standing out for quality and replayability. However, the lack of extra content and modern improvements limits its appeal to a broader audience.

Spirit Mancer captures attention with its artistic style and frantic combat but lacks innovation in later stages. The narrative, despite a good start, remains flat, and the card system has the potential to be much deeper. Hack-and-slash fans will appreciate it, but it doesn't stand out compared to other games in the genre.

Despite its flaws, VED has the potential to captivate with a thoughtful combat system and noticeable graphic style. However, the subpar plot and dialogue prevent the game from shining as it should. The overall experience, unfortunately, ends up being more forgettable than it deserves.
