Gigasword presents a unique approach to Metroidvania gameplay, requiring players to navigate the map with and without the giant sword to progress. However, some aspects feel unnecessary, such as having to retrieve mineral loot after death or the inability to access fast travel within the map. Players are forced to revisit the very sections that initially offered the game's innovation. Many common enemies are repeated, and certain boss battles are significantly more challenging. A technical issue on the Switch prevents players from experiencing the full game.

This Switch version is nothing special. Aside from adding an explorable city that only grants access to each mini-game location, it lacks content beyond repeating the same task over and over again in short, unexciting games.

The card games in Duel Monsters aren't differentiated by many factors, but alternatives like dice and capsules are perfect for a change of pace. Titles with RPG touches also have their appeal. Improvements like the ability to activate a sort of "trick" to save significant amounts of grinding fit just as well as Dark Magician in Yugi's deck. Players of the Spanish versions of the games should be warned of a few translation errors.

302 / 5,000 It's nice to relive the beginnings of the long-running The Sims franchise, and we hope the flaws in these two collections are corrected. Even more so, we're eager to see what the near future holds with a fifth installment that won't be called that, but which, at the end of the day, will still be "The Sims 5" for fans.
