Late Review“There are a few challenging boss fights in Moss: Book 2, as well as some difficult puzzles to solve. Although the game can be challenging at times, the difficulty is just enough to keep things interesting without causing any frustration. The puzzles and fights grow gradually harder at a rate that eases players into it. With more boss fights, different environments, and new weapons, Moss: Book 2 is a fantastic game, and it's a worthy follow-up to Polyarc's highly praised debut title..”

Launch Window“As a game full of predictable combat and only six stages, there's not a lot to Krut: The Mythic Wings. Depending on the difficulty setting, beating the game will likely only take an hour or two. The story is interesting, but it takes up more of the content than the actual gameplay. The flaws are only somewhat made up for by the unique and visually appealing environments for each stage. Overall, Krut: The Mythic Wings offers some casual fun, but it's very short and lacks combat variety.”

Launch Window“With the existence of massive performance issues, MX vs ATV Legends just can't compete with any of the top racing games. The best part of the game is driving around in free mode and exploring open areas with a good soundtrack playing in the background. However, actually racing is a struggle, and it's hard to enjoy coming in first place after repeating a race due to glitches. Overall, MX vs ATV Legends has frustrating, repetitive content that lacks any significantly rewarding experience.”

Launch Window“With an interesting story, a handful of tough new bosses, and a few secrets to find, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course exceeds expectations. The charming visuals, sound effects, and music build on the unique art style of the base game while still standing out with fun, albeit sometimes frustrating, encounters. The story conveys a new and dangerous adventure for Cuphead and Mugman who are joined by the sweet but formidable Ms. Chalice.”

Launch Window“Aside from a few strange or seemingly missing reactions from Matt, there are interesting puzzles, a creepy antagonist, and several nightmarish creatures to kill or avoid throughout the game.”

Launch Window“Despite the noticeable issues and difficulty with maxing out characters, Diablo Immortal is still enjoyable and offers a lot of options for gear and XP grinding. Dungeons, events, PvP fights, hidden lairs, and other activities make this new title fun and interesting for casual players that aren't focused on the competitive side of the game. Of course, the major downside is that those who want to compete and create a top build will almost assuredly need to pour a lot of money and time into strengthening their characters. Diablo Immortal can still be fun, but there are some undeniable flaws that hurt the experience.”

Launch Window“Some of the collectibles can be tough to find, and the platforming puzzles are occasionally challenging. However, Kao's journey is essentially a simple adventure game in which 100% completion is easily achieved in the first playthrough. As a throwback to classic 3D platformers, Kao the Kangaroo does a good job of capturing the spirit of its predecessors, but the actual gameplay has nothing truly challenging or thrilling. Even so, Tate Multimedia has created a laid back and vibrantly colored adventure that's fun to play through casually.”

Early Review“One of the most thrilling parts of Dolmen is the horror element that grows exponentially as the monsters become more difficult and much better at hiding. At first, most enemies can be seen from a distance, but they quickly begin to hide around corners, on the ceiling, or within the environment. A few jumpscares will lead to cautiously approaching every turn and inspecting all of the walls. Horror mixed with features like an intricate upgrade system, daunting combat encounters, and the ability to take on difficult bosses alongside some friends makes Dolmen an exciting title that delivers constant action and intense challenges.”

Launch Window“Although the general concepts remain the same for every campaign, the stories keep the game interesting, and varying requirements ensure the space station is different every time. Getting started can be difficult and unnecessarily complicated, but once the basics are understood, orbit.industries becomes a fun and occasionally intense experience that requires a fair amount of strategic thinking to complete. With the option to forego responsibilities in Creative mode, orbit.industries has plenty to offer for space and building game enthusiasts.”

Launch Window“There is a range of unique classes to experience in Cosmonious High, including Visualetics, Sports Dome, and Astralgebra. The school is split up into three wings that can be accessed from the Grand Hall, or through secret passages in the vents that the Prismi will eventually be able to open. The environment in Cosmonious High encourages exploration while still steering the Prismi toward their ultimate goal. Owlchemy takes the chaos of being a new student on the first day of high school and amplifies it for a unique and entertaining VR adventure with Cosmonious High.”

Late Review“The biggest draw for replaying Ezio's story in Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection on Nintendo Switch is having the option to play on the go. There are only a few minor sacrifices that come with playing the handheld versions of each game, but these are acceptable changes for being able to take The Ezio Collection anywhere. For anyone new to Ezio's story, or those that want to relive his three adventures, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection is a great set of games that have been optimized for the Nintendo Switch.”

Launch Window“CrossfireX is fun to play casually, but it just doesn't measure up to modern FPS standards. The campaign stories are bland and aside from searching for a few collectibles, each mission is pretty much the same as the last one. Completing a few multiplayer matches can still be entertaining in CrossfireX, but it gets old quickly, and there isn't much of a difference between guns. Without the incentive to get new weapons, the Battle Pass and customization options aren't worth buying into, and the loadout doesn't really matter. Overall, CrossfireX is a fun experience for casual gamers, but it missed the mark as a top FPS game.”

Launch Window“Zorya: The Celestial Sisters is a fun co-op puzzle game with a few flaws that are more noticeable towards the end of the story. There are some levels that can be confusing, but overall the puzzles aren't too difficult to solve. The hardest part about the game is getting around the somewhat frustrating controls. However, Zorya: The Celestial Sisters is still a good co-op game to play with a friend online or locally, and the relaxing music and vibrant visuals create a soothing atmosphere that balances out the difficulty of completing each level.”

Launch Window“Reverie Knights Tactics offers players a unique adventure with a variety of difficult challenges and combat scenarios. Players need to react quickly and develop different strategies for each type of enemy. The various enemy types to learn and conquer will keep players busy throughout the game. Although the story ends a bit abruptly, Reverie Knights Tactics has hours of content for players to explore and various optional activities to complete before reaching the final boss battle. Players can experience a fun and entertaining turn-based strategy game in Reverie Knights Tactics.”

Late Review“The Company Man is an exciting platformer with no shortage of action and challenges. From enemies that shoot ice at Jim to customer service representatives that breathe fire, there's a good variety of adversaries to avoid or defeat before moving on to the next level. The Company Man is an immensely fun platformer reminiscent of old school games, but with a modern look at corporate corruption.”

Late Review“At its core, Nova-111 is a strategy adventure game about a small ship, its amusing guide, and the pair's mission to fix space-time. Players can find secrets hidden behind suspicious rocks to get upgrades and rescue their fellow scientists in each area. There are a few minor issues that players may face when trying to move quickly in certain levels, but there aren't any major problems with gameplay. Nova-111 is short but fun to play, and it offers some difficult puzzles for players to solve.”

Late Review“Playing Lucky's Tale in VR on the Quest 2 is a fun and delightful experience with a story about friendship. The extra activities that unlock after completing the story mode in each level increase the replayability of Lucky's Tale and break up the otherwise repetitive gameplay. With Lucky's Tale, players can enjoy a few hours of platforming and guided exploration as they make their way through each chapter and complete their quest to save Piggy.”

Launch Window“Although After the Fall can be repetitive, it shines in its multiplayer capabilities and cross-platform options. Players can connect with their friends in VR to take out hordes of Snowbreed and challenge their skills against enemies like the Smasher, a massive Snowbreed monster with ice armor and a hammer-like arm. After the Fall is reminiscent of Left 4 Dead or Back 4 Blood's gameplay, but with an added level of immersion in VR that makes it a thrilling zombie-fighter experience.”

Launch Window“Players that are familiar with the Let's Sing series can expect more of the same from Let's Sing 2022. The game modes, minigames, and avatars are the same as Let's Sing 2021, so there's nothing really unique about Let's Sing 2022 except for its tracklist. Although playing on a smartphone is convenient, there is a lag in the audio that players may need to work around. However, it doesn't affect gameplay much unless players are singing a fast-paced song against a difficult boss. Whether playing solo or with others, players can enjoy the fun variety of songs in Let's Sing 2022.”

Launch Window“In Surviving the Aftermath, players need to build a sustainable colony similar to Endzone: A World Apart. The storyline gives players a goal to work towards as they explore the world map and enhance their colony. Aside from the ineffective tutorial and tips section of the game, players can expect a fun city-building survival experience. At its core, Surviving the Aftermath is a high-stakes building game where the biggest challenge is making the right decisions in order to stay alive in a dangerous, apocalyptic world.”
