Late Review“Fading Afternoon takes us to Japan in the 80s, in what we could define as the mixture of a mafia life simulator with a walking simulator and a beat 'em up, all seasoned with beautiful pixel art and an exceptional soundtrack. . Fading Afternoon is a charming game that radiates melancholy and longing for a time gone by. It is not perfect nor does it pretend to be, nor is it for everyone, because if its narrative does not catch you, you will end up tired of its loop. However, if we let ourselves be carried away by their proposal, with Fading Afternoon authentic caviar awaits us, which although not everyone may like, its quality is beyond any doubt.”

Launch Window“V Rising - Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack offers us a series of cosmetics and some more extras from the classic Konami franchise, Castlevania. If we are fans of the Castlevania saga and we are trapped by the charm and fun of V Rising, we are going to enjoy creating our Castlevania-style castle, listening to its music and looking like Alucard, if that is not the case, then we can still get the pack When we see it on sale, after all it offers a good amount of extra elements.”

Early Review“Rainbow Cotton is the last title in the Cotton franchise that we had yet to receive in the West. Originally released on Dreamcast in 2000, Rainbow Cotton offered us an on-rails shooter in the style of Panorama Cotton but in real 3D. With this remastering we will enjoy an improved technical and visual section, as well as the local cooperative multiplayer option and the opportunity to play the original Rainbow Cotton. Unfortunately, the remastering has brought with it some playable problems from the Dreamcast version that could well have been solved, even so, with Rainbow Cotton we complete the collection, and that is one of its great attractions.”
“MotoGP 24 is a motorcycle simulator that offers a similar experience to last year's installment, but great additions have been made with the addition of the rider market, adaptive difficulty and MotoGP Stewards -track judges-, in addition to all the features. corresponding AI fixes and improvements. If you like the world of motorcycling, you can't miss it.”

Late Review“Our journey through the Valis: The Fantasm Soldier franchise comes to an end with Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection III, a third compilation of the Valis franchise from Telenet Japan for Nintendo Switch that collects some versions of the main installments and that in some cases differ There are quite a few of these and they are still interesting to discover and enjoy, especially if we like the genre and the franchise.”
“Heliborne is an interesting title for any player who is interested in taking control of a combat helicopter, with real models ranging from 1955 to 2000. More than 50 devices and 7 maps await us, some based on real conflicts for Enjoy both online and offline. It is evident that we are not facing a great production but it is still a recommendable game, especially in its multiplayer aspect.”

Late Review“COSMIC FANTASY COLLECTION is one of those compilations that has more value for its proposal of bringing us works that are fairly unknown in the West than for the two games it contains, especially for its first installment that abuses grinding, has unjustified difficulty peaks and is quite flat . The second installment fixes all of that, that's true, but we would have liked some quality of life options such as saving at any point or an option to speed up combat. In any case, lovers of classic JRPGs and retro games have a golden opportunity to get to know this franchise that will be complete with the upcoming COSMIC FANTASY COLLECTION 2.”

Late Review“Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Royal Edition comes to Nintendo Switch in what for many was an impossible port and thanks to Saber Interactive it has been proven that this was not the case. An open world RPG with a medieval theme and a realistic tone awaits you - complex and demanding - that will delight lovers of the deepest RPGs, as long as they understand the technical concessions granted to make this version possible.”

Early Review“Top Racer Collection offers us, with the inclusion of the classics Top Gear, Top Gear 2 and Top Gear 3000, several hours of driving in the purest arcade style, fun and uncomplicated but that will end up requiring a certain level of demand if we want to win. It has been a very good idea to recover this rather forgotten franchise and give it a much more current presentation. The configuration options, extras, achievements, online multiplayer and Top Racer: Crossroads put the cherry on top of this compilation that all lovers of arcade driving from the early 90s will enjoy.”
“Risen stands out as an action RPG with a strong narrative focus, meaningful decisions, and a diverse world to explore. Although this new version has not received changes from the 2009 original, its attractive design, complexity in decisions and gameplay continue to offer an immersive and recommended experience for current players. In 2009 it went quite unnoticed, now we have the opportunity to remedy it.”

Launch Window“Irem Collection Volume 1 is the first volume of five classics from the Japanese company Irem. This first compilation includes three shoot 'em ups of unquestionable quality such as Image Fight and its sequel, Image Fight II: Operation Deepstriker, and X Multiply. The presentation and options included in the compilation are quite good, although a few more extras such as galleries or documentation of the games may be missing to give it more packaging, but in general we are faced with a solid product. It is a shame that this volume only includes three titles and no more, even so, those interested in Irem - and lovers of shoot 'em ups - have a must-see date with this compilation.”

Launch Window“Gothic II Complete Classic is the definitive version of the acclaimed western RPG Gothic II for Nintendo Switch. Following the structure of the first game in terms of narrative and development, Piranha Bytes offers us a much more satisfactory work that enhances the virtues of the previous game. Despite the mastery achieved in some sections, Gothic II is not free of flaws and elements that could be improved, although despite them, the Piranha Bytes game is still considered one of the greats of its genre.”

Launch Window“Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection is a very interesting compilation for Jurassic Park fans. It recovers the first games that accompanied Steven Spielberg's film and its fictional sequels, forming a compilation of 8 and 16-bit games in which a couple more games are missing. The quality of life improvements are appreciated and are great for some of the games. If you like what surrounds the Jurassic Park phenomenon, and you want to know the first titles with which the franchise started in the world of video games, don't miss it.”

Launch Window“VISCO Collection is a compilation of 7 games that focuses on Visco Corporation titles that came out for the Neo Geo system, ignoring the two Breakers and games licensed by third parties. Although the Japanese company has other great titles that are not in this compilation as they are developed for other Arcade systems or boards, the titles included comply with what is proposed and several of them have received online multiplayer functions. VISCO Collection is a good approximation to the games that the Japanese company made for Neo Geo and deserves our attention.”

Late Review“ASTLIBRA Revision is a side-action RPG developed by KEIZO, a single developer for a whopping 14 years. The game is quite dense both in terms of story and playable mechanics, and against all odds the result is outstanding, everything ends up working and fitting together perfectly and as soon as we let ourselves get caught up, we will have many hours of fun. This is a hidden gem that deserves much more recognition and is a must-have for lovers of the genre.”
“Gothic Classic is a slightly improved version of the 2001 Piranha Bytes classic Gothic. This is a Western open-world action RPG that stands out for its focus on exploration, non-linear narrative, and its fairly well-constructed dark fantasy open world. This version for Nintendo Switch has received some improvements such as a new controller control scheme, motion control, certain interface redesigns, some playable adjustments, but the base is still a 2001 game that technically has not aged well at all. It is up to the player to evaluate this title as an essential classic or as a game that is not recommended and difficult to play.”

Launch Window“FRONT MISSION 2: Remake brings us back another Squaresoft classic for the first PlayStation that did not leave Japan at the time. The remake comes with the same new features as the remake of the first installment that was released last year and offers us a new story following the adult and gray tone of the previous title. We will return to pilot a fully customizable Wanzer while we choose the best strategy to survive the countless combats that await us. Fans of tactical RPGs should not miss it.”

Launch Window“Telenet Shooting Collection is a compilation with four classic shoot 'em ups not very well known in the West but not lacking in quality. The four titles - Granada, Avenger, Gaiares and Psychic Storm - are unreleased in Europe and two of them did not even leave Japan. This is a highly recommended compilation for fans of the matamartianos genre and without a doubt the perfect opportunity to get to know these titles in the best possible way and with the corresponding accessibility improvements.”

Launch Window“With Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles we have the perfect opportunity to play the second and third installments of the Rhapsody saga for the first time in the West and in English. It is true that this compilation has a very basic extra work - purely visual and localization - and that the opportunity to have compiled the Rhapsody trilogy including the first part has been lost, but even so we have ahead of us two JRPGs of a certain simplicity and more "cute" that deep, but that will entertain and surprise us with a staging in the form of a musical.”

Launch Window“Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX is the most complete version of the third installment of the Raiden series and is accompanied by an incredible new soundtrack produced by the prestigious Japanese Arcade game center Mikado, various extras, new game modes and a setting On point in terms of resolution, but it maintains some of the drawbacks of the original version of Raiden III, such as its overly simple scoring system. In any case, shoot 'em up lovers are in luck and whether they are familiar with the Raiden franchise or not, they will have a lot of fun with this version of Raiden III.”
