Early Review“The duality of man, or in this case football management games. A horrible experience but a compelling simulation of football game management. ”

Launch Window“This Until Dawn remake is the best way to experience the game, but shows its age in terms of mechanics and more. As a piece of fun, if you've not played before (and to get ready for the movie), it's worth your time.”

Launch Window“Transformers: Battlegrounds is a simple and functional tactical combat game starring Optimus Prime and Megatron which is very good. What's very bad is that it looks last-gen, has a jaggedy curve with minimal overall challenge and doesn't shout 'Play me!' too often. If you're ok with that, then you have a few hours of relaxing fun ahead of you.”

Launch Window“Sports Interactive has made Football Manager new again, without breaking what already made it so delightful. It's more of the same, only newer.”

Late Review“New Star Manager ups the ante as you step up from footballer to football manager. The football remains great fun but the rest will work for some and not others. The PlayStation version looks, sounds and runs fine but the Switch's stick and touch screen combo would be preferred.”

Late Review“The Grand Tour Game doesn't deliver what's needed as an interactive experience and makes you long to watch the show without the irritation of anything else. As an experiment, it provides Amazon with plenty of useful results, all of which indicate something very different is needed to combine TV and gaming media.”

Late Review“A fabulous demonstration of what football management is really like, of which there is no peer. But impenetrable to many and less fun for all, it makes you think of the past too often to ignore.”

Launch Window“Interactive entertainment is the holy grail of many game developers-cum-movie makers, and in #WarGames we have another nice idea flawed by the story being told and the lack of clear interaction granted to the player.”

Late Review“A game made by those behind The Stanley Parable that quite frankly is a repeat of the first trick, done badly.”

Late Review“Puzzle Puppers achieves what it sets out to do with aplomb. It’s an irreverent puzzler with animal-like charm which is fun to play for all ages and all skill levels, at all times. It functions as an intense workout for your brain or something to fill those short gaps between jobs. It does so whilst allowing you to play with dogs at the same time and, quite frankly, who wouldn’t want that?”

Late Review“After around one and a half hours the game is over. Nothing much changed for me in those final thirty minutes - finishing the game was almost like a chore. The scenes and the interactive aspects didn’t add much to the overall story, which was pretty much done by the hour mark.”

Late Review“Disc Jam invokes the spirit of days gone by in arcades of old playing air hockey, and works well, but doesn’t quite have the oomph to impress upon you any must-have demands.”

Launch Window“Le Tour De France Season 2017 is the Team Sky of cycling games. It is the best of the genre, it is familiar and it's liked by only the true hardcore.”

Launch Window“Wonderful retro-entertainment with this re-imagining of Burnout's crash mode. Play with the laws of physics in your car and get that high score.”

Late Review“Vertical Drop Heroes is a remake of a browser-based game from the turn of the decade. It does procedural and roguelike in a quick and fun way but ultimately is only for fans of this genre. What it does it does well, but that is limited.”

Launch Window“It will do, until Driveclub 2.0 comes out - presumably with biking from the start.”

Early Review“This is the finest football management game around and should be on everyone's Steam list.”

Launch Window“So, to sum up what SingStar: Ultimate Party is I can safely say what it is not. It is not the ultimate party. If it were, life would be very dull indeed. What it is is a way to collate certain music videos in one place in exchange for payment as opposed to finding them for free via various other methods. It's a chance to sing into your smartphone rather than hear singing from it and a chance to see shapes turn blue or gold or stay white. It's a chance to record yourself singing without pressing play on the video recorder and a chance to have other people you don't know rate your singing to prove once and for all to your wife/mother/friends that you bloody well can sing. Does all of that make the game worth playing? Not a chance.”

Early Review“As ever with a Football Manager game there has been a whole host of changes some of which are apparent straight away, whilst others become clear over time. The time-honoured tradition is to incite revolution in some areas and optimising others via evolution. Whilst this ensures there's enough new stuff to get owners of older versions to buy the latest release, it does mean that nothing is ever made perfect because of the modular, but cyclic change. It's not like everything that needs to be improved is touched in one go; nor do we get that brand-new and surprising title. So here we don't get that ten out of ten rating but Sports Interactive deserve praise for again delivering the best football management simulation around. It's the same as last year then, only different.”
