Routine is one of those games that made me feel relief after finishing it. And I will never play it again. But not because it’s bad – on the contrary, it is a terrifying horror with a very immersive world. The atmosphere is so bleak and heavy that it can scare off some players. And that’s good!

The new Painkiller is a weird, unfinished hybrid – a game with a story-driven campaign that masquerades as an endgame, a game that was meant to provide fun by playing quick raids, but someone forgot to create a worthwhile goal for it all. It looks like some random elements were cobbled together without key game systems.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will be a nostalgic trip to the past for some, and a visit to an interactive museum for others. Either way it’s worth to look past some archaic solutions, respect the developers’ approach and reach the ending of one best games ever.

RoadCraft, despite a few controversial changes and shortcomings, strikes me as a way more engaging title than SnowRunner. This is a very welcoming game for beginners, and one that gives much more satisfaction upon completing tasks. And it is also a brand new, very potent basis to expand the franchise. Right now it provides dozens of hours, and it only should get better.

As long as we accept that we are not playing the role of a super cop, but a regular street patrolling policeman, which involves a certain routine, we get a great little game that offers a lot of fun. What's more, The Precinct sometimes surprises us with random, unscripted events, as well as references and easter eggs from many 80s films and TV series.

I find it difficult to recommend Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy to anyone other than the biggest enthusiasts of Benoit Sokal's work. However, if you don't mind terrible optimisation, archaic movement mechanics or a plot focused on gathering information about past events instead of experiencing them, the remake will take you to a truly unique universe accompanied by an absolutely beautiful soundtrack.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is an unique feat of engineering with elements of a game. We get another graphical revolution that – as revolutions tend to do – is quite bumpy. But at the same time it allows you to feel like a professional pilot or simply have fun by flying directly over your house.

Trepang2 is a game made according to a recipe that's more than 20 years old. Arguably, however, the FEAR formula is still relevant. The shooting is really, really satisfying, too. A pleasant surprise, for sure!

Farming Simulator 22 is the best installment of the series, but it’s not perfect. Some issues could have been easily avoided, while others are clearly the results of choices. But we can be sure that mods will fix many things soon. Then the veterans of the series will love it!

Ghost of a Tale is just a beautiful dream – flawed. Superb characters, cool story and pretty graphics fall under the spell of clunky gameplay. It would be good if the world was big, open and inviting or if the game had 50% les quests and a shorter story. Tilo’s adventure is more of a movie material than a game – it lacks the input of experienced developers.
