Late Review“I Hate This Place is full of interesting ideas and references to well-known horror stories. However, the technical state on PC is quite questionable, and various mechanics feel more like filler meant to artificially extend the playtime rather than provide real value.”

Launch Window“Shadows over Crete is a mission pack that managed to surpass most of the original ones. The pleasant gameplay scenery and the effort to incorporate a more prominent story element are a welcome change. For fans of the series, this DLC is an absolute must.”

Launch Window“Time Guard - The Red Menace brings only minimal changes to the graphics in comparison to the original version from 2002, but it tries to attract new players with many simplifications, which, however, do not discourage die-hard fans. I don't regret returning to this installment, but after playing it I still feel that the game would have benefited more from a full-fledged remaster.”

Launch Window“Dollhouse: Behind the Broken Mirror is an action horror adventure game, that doesn't come with anything original. Game processing is quite weak, the technical aspect acts outdated and overall, you get the feeling that you are getting a half-finished product, which development has been greatly accelerated.”

Launch Window“Chorus of Carcosa may look impressive at first glance, but it lacks any originality. The story is chaotic, artificially stretched and individual aspects are mediocre at best. The only attraction is the affordable price.”

Launch Window“Omens of Destruction introduces three new legendary nobles in separate mini DLCs. However, the content is quite limited and the DLCs bring very little news compared to the price. Overall, this is a weaker expansion that will probably only appeal to core fans.”

Launch Window“Forgotten but Unbroken is an ambitious game that kind of overestimated its capabilities. It offers a variety of game elements and mechains, but some are so overcomplicated that they quickly turn monotonous. Nevertheless, it is a very decent game by Slovak standards, and it can definitely compete with the genre competition.”

Launch Window“Thrones of Decay is more varied than Shadows of Change due to its two campaigns that cover nations that didn't have them previously. But as usually, the DLC is mostly aimed at hardcore fans.”

Launch Window“Classified: France '44 is an excellent combination of XCOM's mechanics and the World War 2 setting, and offers plenty of replayability to boot.”

Launch Window“Legion Tales definitely isn't a cheaply made DLC for a quick buck, but a full-fledged experience worth buying and playing.”

Launch Window“War Hospital does indeed offer a new, unique perspective on World War I, but it's lacking in several aspects. There's plenty of technical issues and janky mechanics, and the story kind of falls flat.”

Launch Window“The story and themes Last Train Home are gripping, creative, and well realized. It can't replace history lessons, but it offers dozens of hours of quality entertainment.”

Launch Window“Shadows of Change is pretty expensive for what it is, but it should provide the fans with dozens of hours of entertainment.”
7/22/2023
Launch Window“Testament: The Order of High Human was a rather ambitious attempt to combine action and puzzle gameplay, but in the end, it has proven to be too ambitious for the developers. The game is long, but unfortunately also bland and repetitive.”

Early Review“Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is a must-own DLC for all Total War: Warhammer III players.”
3/11/2023
Late Review“The first DLC for Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters offers enough new content to be worth trying.”

Launch Window“Scathe is pretty good but it has its faults. If you give it a shot, you should be pleasantly entertained during its 10 hour runtime.”

Launch Window“Neither as a veteran or a newbie, you won't go wrong with Stronghold Warlords. New players can expect a very good intro to the series and veterans of the series will finally get an entry that gets pretty close to the legendary Stronghold Crusader.”

Launch Window“Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron is a fun and unique title, but the game suffers a bit from its multiplatform release. The PC version could use a bit more polish and tweaks to work better as a computer game. However, if these issues are fix, the game could end up being one of the best Warhammer 40k titles out there.”

Late Review“The Indonesian dev team Digital Happiness has attempted to follow the uniqueness and move the boundaries a bit further, which was, in some ways, a success. The question remains if that's sufficient to recommend the game. If you can look past the small technical issues and certain naivety, you will be able to enjoy an unusual gaming experience.”
