“It's not just the references that make it work, but also the gameplay and the thrill of exploring Gotham. Whether someone is a LEGO fan, a Batman fan, or both, there's something here to enjoy.”

NintendoWorldReportMay 18, 2026Score 80Pre-release Review

“There's no new mechanics and it's still a passive experience, but for my money, I am living and dying with every new endearing character. I am deciding on what ingredient goes into a Jahe Tubruk and I am waking up in the morning, before my child wakes up, making myself a nice warm cup of coffee and spending time seeing what my friends have been up to since we last talked. This brew may not be for everyone, but it's a special blend, specifically for me.”

“Wax Heads offers a short experience, which can be completed in around 5 hours of gameplay, but it ends up feeling a bit longer than that. A slow narrative that never really gets going, combined with gameplay that revolves around a great idea but is executed in such a simplistic way, is what makes it difficult to recommend this game to anyone.”

Latest: Vultures - Scavengers of Death

GameFMMay 16, 2026Score 90

“Through a well-crafted identity deeply rooted in its inspirations, Vultures - Scavengers of Death proves that developers Mateo and Giovanni delivered an outstanding piece of work, respecting their influences while presenting a fun experience at a time when the revival of horror games is thriving, driven by numerous remakes and original titles. The game not only keeps the genre in the spotlight, but also embraces a highly niche style inspired by tabletop strategy games, strongly reminiscent of the Resident Evil 3: The Board Game by Steamforged Games. The result feels almost like an adaptation of board game mechanics into a digital medium, something exceptionally well executed by Team Vultures.”

GamesCreedMay 16, 2026Score 84

“Subnautica 2 is already a very polished early access game, but it is still very much unfinished. Depending on how you like to explore, what we have now gives about 10 to 20 hours of structured progression. That alone makes the current price point sensible for many players, especially since it's likely to go up as development continues.”

NoesPaisparaFrikisMay 15, 2026Score 90

Latest: STARBITES

Pure NintendoMay 15, 2026Score 60Pre-release Review

“Narratively, Starbites is a breath of fresh air for RPG fans. It's well-paced and engaging from start to finish (albeit with some exploration redundancy), and the turn-based combat is well-implemented. On the Switch, however, the visuals are a polluted mess. If you're willing to wait for the delayed Switch 2 version, do.”

“Arty Facts, much like Zooseum, isn't especially game-changing or revelatory for the franchise, but it offers more, new, Two Point Museum, and that alone might just be enough. All the trademark charm and character of Two Point's games are here, so if you enjoy what the base game or Zooseum offers, then you'll enjoy this, because it's largely more of the same, and that's no bad thing.”

“Motorslice is a game that needs a few patches to sort out some of the clunkier elements of its traversal, like the parkour and jumps not landing as they should. There is some awkwardness with dialogue choices but they can be ignored as they have no bearing on the story. The world itself is well designed but it needs more substance when it comes to enemies too.”

The Beta NetworkMay 14, 2026Score 80Pre-release Review

“Forza Horizon 6 doesn’t hit the same turbocharged highs as its Mexico-set predecessor, trading some of the series’ wacky arcade chaos for a more grounded spin through Japan. Though when it lets loose with drift events, Horizon Rush and a soundtrack packed with EDM, J-pop and anime bangers, it genuinely rips.”
