Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit is an essential experience for any retro enthusiast, a successful throwback to the NES years where every pixel, every sound and every trap told a story.

The controls are simple and intuitive, making it quite accessible for everyone. However, the difficulty level will appeal more to a teenage audience as they get older. The soundtrack is truly incredible, and the game's immersion is so easily achieved with the plot. The cutscenes are magnificent, and I really liked the overall storyline of the game. A very nice discovery.

While not completely revolutionizing the genre, this indie game, Grit and Valor – 1949, offers a solid, fun, and engaging experience. Despite a fairly high difficulty level, some precision flaws, and a slightly subdued soundtrack, the dieselpunk charm, addictive gameplay, and replayability make it a great addition to any video game library at a more than affordable price.

Overall, it's still a pleasant experience, especially considering its price, so it won't be a heavy hitter for your wallet. For those unfamiliar with it, Into the Emberlands was developed by the same studio as XEL, a game that strongly resembles a 2D Zelda game.

It is a good family game, very fun and which puts forward important values of our society. It is perfect for a child who begins his adventure with video games. There is a lot of dialogue between the characters which will give the impression that it is a children's story.

Biomorph is a love letter to the Metroidvania genre, respecting its traditions while pushing its limits. The addition of shapeshifting as a central mechanic greatly enriches the experience, offering a new perspective on exploration and combat.
