Although Ys: Memories of Celceta is not my favorite Ys game, it's certainly a very decent experience for action-rpg fans to enjoy. Getting into the game you can expect a full on fast paced 25-30 hour adventure, that honestly if you can get past the story you will never bored of it because of the battle system. Ys usually does certain things so good that you can try to ignore the shortcomings, with Memories of Celceta the overall experience is certainly very positive.

Langrisser I & II are fairly solid RPGs and you can tell that the game inspired a lot of what the industry considers genre standards.

While it is nice to see a brand new SaGa game after the franchise laid dormant for years, it is still struggling to find common ground and the experimental nature of the gameplay means this is not meant for everyone.

Tokyo Ghoul: re [CALL to EXIST] is one of the weakest efforts to bring a manga adaptation to a video game. It suffers from repetitive gameplay and lackluster presentation.

This is a faithful recreation of Romancing Saga 3 bringing back this classic JRPG to modern platforms. There are some additional features but the most appealing part of this port is that the game is now officially playable with English localization.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition is an extremely good value bundle for the two games that you get, so if you haven't played the games and own a Switch then this Pokemon alternative is certainly worth investing in.

Vectronom is ultimately designed for a specific kind of audience. Those who are into rhythm games and are familiar with the monotonous trial and error associated with them will certainly find it appealing.

Collection of Mana is a nostalgia-fueled ride through three classic games. There is no additional bonus with each of the ports, but all three games are handled well and offer some nice quality-of-life features. If you can't wait for Trials of Mana Remake, this is not a bad way to play through arguably one of the best Mana game.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose is an okay RPG that will last you quite a while if you like the themes and concept presented. It certainly isn't the Persona-like game we were expecting so you may want to skip this if you were under the same impression as me.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is intended for a very niche audience and doesn't really translate the best to console and PC coming from an Arcade Game.

Hob: The Definitive Edition is not going to blow you away with its design but it is a solid adventure game nonetheless. The Nintendo Switch version does end up making it the definitive edition due to some quality-of-life changes and minor improvements putting it on equal foot next to the console and PC version.

It is gut wrenching to reach the end of The Walking Dead knowing the fate of the series, but it ends on such a high note that it feels like a privilege to take part in this journey of Clementine from the beginning to its end.

Episode Ardyn is the best gift the development team could give to the fans. It is bittersweet and digs deeper into the history of Ardyn as he transforms from a savior of the people to a villain starting the end of the world leading to Final Fantasy XV.

RemiLore is a flawed concept with a terrible execution that is mostly hurt by its design despite carrying some charming aesthetics and fun characters. The game could have benefited greatly from a traditional story mode instead of the focus on rogue-lite elements.

Dragons: Dawn of New Riders mostly keeps it simple and fun with an easy to follow story and gameplay. It is not the most complex action game but makes uses its licensed property creatively. So instead of looking like forced tie-in, it feels more like a proper spin-off to the movie.

This is a technically efficient port for Dynasty Warriors 8 with a solid performance that adds plenty of extra content to the game. It is easily the best Dynasty Warriors available now on the Nintendo Switch.

A collection well suited for the classic Atelier fans. What makes it exciting is how these games still hold up fine even today, and if you haven't managed to play them, or started with the series, this is a good stepping stone for the franchise.

GunGrave VR is tough to recommend to anyone outside of GunGrave purists, and even then there isn’t enough content here to justify its asking price, and what's there is largely a chore to play through.

Death Mark feels genuinely fresh and absolutely shocking at times. It captures your attention with its psychological gore and then surprises you with the way the plot is laid out. This is not a visual novel for the light-hearted, but as a horror-themed game, it deserves a place near the top of the list. The atmosphere, sense of dread, the relationship between characters, it is all handled exceptionally well with multiple endings giving it excellent replay value.

An expensive DLC expansion that does offer many fun new elements, but without any gameplay innovations, there is no appeal in it for those who were never a fan of the base game. For Honor: Marching Fire's asking price also feels a little too high compared to content offered in this expansion.
