Launch Window“In the end, Midnight Murder Club delivers on its promise: an experience full of suspense, laughter, and twists, where every round is unpredictable and every session with friends becomes a spectacle of chaos and fun. With its varied modes, simple yet effective mechanics, and the convenience of the Guest Pass edition, the game unites groups, creates memorable moments, and ensures no one wants to leave Wormwood Manor any time soon. For those looking for a game that combines tension, comedy, and competitiveness among friends in balanced doses, Midnight Murder Club is undoubtedly a must-have.”

Late Review“Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a love letter to die-hard fans of Tite Kubo's work, but little more. In terms of story adaptation, this is an extremely competent effort that also presents Ichigo and company fans with new, quality content. Gameplay-wise, it meets the requirements and manages to offer a good few hours of fun, but it falls short by being too superficial and routine in crucial areas. It's one of those offerings that will only increase in value the more fans you are of the source material—and for the most passionate Bleach fans, this game is well worth it. For others seeking a mechanically deep and strategically dense fighting game, you'll leave this experience with an appetite to satisfy.”

Late Review“Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition is a faithful remaster of a great strategy party game, complete with four retro bonus games and intriguing snapshots of the series' history that mark it as an excellent effort to preserve and celebrate Worms. It's also a testament to the timeless quality of the source material, still enjoyable after more than a quarter of a century—however, the remaster's conservatism that proves its resistance to time is also what leaves us lamenting the lack of new content and quality-of-life tweaks.”

Late Review“Star Overdrive is, therefore, a game that starts with a good idea and offers a captivating aesthetic, but fails to sustain interest over time. Repetition, inconsistent mechanics, a story that, while interesting, fails to deliver true emotion, and the emptiness of its world ultimately undermine the journey's impact. It's an experience that has its moments—especially for those who enjoy games with strong artistic direction and a more restrained length—but falls short of its true potential.”

Launch Window“I wish I could recommend Ever 17 - The Out of Infinity to you with all my heart. Its story is excellent and mesmerizing, featuring fascinating revelations that are as bold today as they were twenty years ago, and its presentation and accessibility are better than ever. However, I can only do so with a glaring disclaimer: for all its positive additions, the newest version of the game has a nauseating dose of foreshadowing, which lessens the impact of its biggest twists. Ever 17 doesn't live and die by its surprises, but its brilliance isn't as splendid without them.”

Early Review“Once we overcame its grating romantic clichés, we found Never 7 - The End of Infinity to have an intriguing plot filled with stimulating themes that linger in our minds long after the credits roll. Combining thought-provoking concepts with a calmer and more detached setting than its successors, Never 7 retains a unique charm that keeps it captivating even 20 years later, despite being noticeably inferior in scope and memorability. However, this remaster would have benefited from a more refined English localization, deeper graphical enhancements, and the inclusion of the exclusive TIPS entries from the PSP version.”

Launch Window“Despite the frustrating hitboxes, the voices that break the immersion in the game's atmosphere or the flaws in the story's narration, The Spirit of the Samurai offers a reasonable experience in a well-detailed 2D world with an interesting combat system and stop-motion animations that synergize well with each other.”

Launch Window“Where we could see a genuine and enthusiastic recommendation, we ended up finding “just” a solid option to spend two or three hours. With a prosaic plot and fun but basic combat, Rose & Collection is a “diamond in the rough”, a solid base to snap and cry for more, which leaves us with a bittersweet reflection on the number of possible directions to take the narrative potential, ironic and mechanical in addition to the already competent half-league on display.”

Launch Window“Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass appeared to be a guaranteed victory for Nintendo, after the developers of the shooter series discovered the perfect formula for this style of content in the previous game. However, a respectable search for a new direction and format for the solo campaign culminated in a gigantic drop in the quality and quantity of content, in practically all aspects - and the inclusion of Inkopolis Plaza does little or nothing to dampen it. Still, I'd be lying if I said that playing Side Order wasn't fun; Even though the merit comes mainly from the solid base game, the novelty factor and an irresistible experimentation component help to ensure our fun in an adventure, otherwise, with extremely obvious flaws.”

Launch Window“Although Naheulbeuk’s Dungeon Master doesn’t convey exactly the same idea as its spiritual predecessor, that doesn’t mean it lags behind it. This title offers fun for hours on end, with an incredibly satisfying hint of creativity and the possibility of replayability is always a good approach in a management and construction game.”

Launch Window“Flashback 2 needed to spend a few more months polishing its rough edges. There is no other way to put this. Whether it's due to the significant amount of graphical problems, problems in triggering events, or its inappropriate game mechanics, there are too many situations where we had to use all our patience to be able to complete it. Its basic premise is interesting and its origins exciting, but it is certainly an experience that would benefit from refinement.”

Late Review“Everhood: Eternity Edition is a very successful rhythm adventure game, but it fails to reach the level of stardom of the game from which it is inspired. It's a very fun adventure, with a different combat style, a well-built world and a soundtrack that makes me tap my foot. But it tries too hard and without success to be a new Undertale, ending up leaving something to be desired in some moments of the story (especially in the ending) and in the characters it presents. It's a great, great indie, which I'll want to return to more often, but it falls a little short in some aspects, which prevents it from being a title for the ages.”

Late Review“With an anemic minigame selection and insufficient depth to diversify gameplay, Everybody 1-2 Switch! completely exhausts its appeal in two or three hours. On the current supreme console for local multiplayer, this proposal is unable to hold a candle to the countless superior alternatives present in the vast Nintendo Switch catalogue, which is a shame given that it is, at its limited core, an accessible and intuitive experience for everyone and more.”

Early Review“I didn't find in ANONYMOUS;CODE the fascinating characters and development arcs that won me over in other SciADV experiences, but this continuation of the saga mitigates this omission with an exciting sci-fi narrative, mature explorations of intriguing themes and the introduction of a save/load mechanic which gives the player an active role in events.”

Launch Window“Future Redeemed served primarily to “put the dots in the i's”, but it would be unfair to say that that's all this latest DLC for Xenoblade Chorincles 3 is. Above all, it is a culmination of several elements and mechanics of this series that leaves us to ponder its future with very positive expectations. For the most attentive and knowledgeable of the global plot, the final chapter of this DLC opens up immense possibilities, making it impossible not to be anxious about what could come in the future. If you're a fan of JRPGs this is a series you can't miss!”

Launch Window“With a nontraditional protagonist, quite intriguing mysteries, shenanigans and a meticulously considered cadence of events, CHAOS;HEAD NOAH delivers an intriguing story that's impossible to put down before the credits. While the content of this work remains excellent almost 15 years after the original release, this release is hampered by a series of problems inherent to the work of conversion and localization, such as the impossibility of completing the true ending of the game and the censorship of moments in the story, important for understanding its mysteries.”

Launch Window“Railways: Train Simulator is a nice and simplistic game, where our hand-eye coordination is put to the test. The ability to deal with several variables, in order to carry out a good completion of the level also proved to be a challenge to overcome in the final levels. In the end, we were left with the feeling that it could have been something more, but it is still a funny title to try during the dead hours.”

Late Review“Eternal Hope is a game with many qualities, but whose flaws leave it far short of its inspirations. While the narrative is very engaging and the visual direction is vibrant, the mechanical simplicity doesn't translate into completely satisfying gameplay due to notable problems and very unchallenging puzzles. It's a title that will give fans of platform and puzzle games a few moments of pleasure, but whose inspirations from the highly acclaimed Limbo leave us with the feeling of enormous unrealized potential.”

Late Review“With a special emphasis on real-time management, a nostalgic presentation/narrative tone, and a diverse array of supernatural monsters and weapons, RESEARCH and DESTROY is a unique turn-based/tactical RPG that encourages speed of action without diminishing the process of decision making. However, the game's reliance on recurring enemy spawns in random positions is problematic to promote any strategy development and contributes to a feeling of repetition, a feeling also associated with the scarcity of unique objectives and bosses.”

Late Review“Remote Life deserves a lot of credit. A game made by a single person, where the small flaws are easily compensated by the risk of joining two different genres in a very original title. A frantic and at the same time scary Shmup, highly recommended for lovers of the genre.”
