Launch Window“With Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection, Limited Run Games resurrects a solid batch of 30-year-old 2D action-platformers and top-down action games, most of which are still fun to play. The quality-of-life improvements do make the gameplay experience more accessible to modern gamers (and to those who never finished them back then), but some curious omissions and ancient design decisions hamper it. Even so, these games did capture a small part of the cultural zeitgeist and are worth checking out, even today. So welcome back to Jurassic Park.”

Late Review“Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils is a hidden gem with a great soundtrack and simple and fun mechanics that make this platformer an entertaining adventure. The storyline may throw players off, but for how much fun you’ll have, you won’t mind. Stretch those legs and jump in!”

Late Review“Super Dungeon Maker is a game that many fans of Zelda are looking for until Nintendo releases an official standalone 2D builder. With refinements on building and adding replay value to explorers, this can be an addictive game for many. Plan out your dungeon and start digging.”

Launch Window“God of Rock is an interesting mix of rhythm and fighting styles but it feels quite difficult to handle both styles. Outside of the Arcade Mode and Level Editor, there’s not much left as the online matches feel scarce.”

Late Review“Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent has a few interesting ideas, but its thin storyline, rollercoaster difficulty, and restricted gameplay mechanics are not enough to keep players entertained for long.”

Late Review“BROK the InvestiGator is a solid, beautifully illustrated game that mixes various gameplay styles in a way that works really well. COWCAT has something special here and fans should look forward to what they’ll make next. Grab your magnifying glass, ready your fists, and gator done!”

Launch Window“Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society will eat away hours of your time with its unique gameplay. Although it does take time to learn everything the game has to offer and can be challenging, it all adds to the experience. From one puppet to another, it’s well worth a trip to the labyrinth, even if you lose a limb or two.”

Late Review“NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 2 has a few interesting titles but as a whole, there’s not enough to satisfy that price tag. You’re better off purchasing some of these titles separately and still spend less.”

Launch Window“Mega Man Battle & Fighters is a fun port for Mega Man fanatics to play since most have never had the chance to try The Power Battle and The Power Fighters. Unfortunately, the game's single-player-only mode and lack of additional content prevent it from being greater. It’s more Decent Man than Mega Man.”

Launch Window“Super Bullet Break is a game that has a lot of potential, but its frustrating roguelike gameplay makes it difficult to hang onto and finish. If you have the ambition and are willing to learn the game’s strategic mechanics, give it a whirl and save the gaming world!”

Launch Window“Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince is a fun, pixel adventure sequel that shouldn’t be missed, especially if you’re a fan of classic 2D Zelda games. Get ready for another exciting tale from Grandpa and save your bro!”

Late Review“Voyage is an indie game for all ages that’s worth a trip if you’re looking for casual exploration in a stunningly beautiful 2D world. It’s unfortunate that the title can be finished so quickly and is occasionally tedious, but the journey is still pretty nice while it lasts.”

Late Review“Light Fairytale Episode 1 is fun, but it feels more like a tease. This JRPG inspired title has what it takes to become a great game, but it needs more content to prove it. Those who enjoyed classic JRPGs from the ‘90s will want to visit this world. Turn your blade on and prepare for a quick battle.”

Late Review“Pretty Girls Rivers is one of the better puzzle games offered by EastAsiaSoft and is recommended to those who enjoy mahjong solitaire. Unfortunately, there’s not enough content to satisfy players for too long. Still, clear the pile and make room for this one, puzzle lovers.”

Late Review“Overall, Ocean’s Heart is a pleasant RPG adventure that will tickle the fancy of any Zelda fan. While there are minor navigation issues, these do not detract from the experience. The game is stuffed full of content, puzzles, dungeons, and quests, making for an expansive, well-balanced, and well-crafted experience that belies the fact that it’s from a small development crew. Through and through, this pixelated pirate adventure has found its true home on the Nintendo Switch console. So set sail: the heart awaits!”

Launch Window“Overall, Tunche is a nice, well-blended mixture of beat’em up and rogue-like gameplay that’s easy to play alone or with friends. Though it feels like a bit of a slow grind to progress, it will provide an ample challenge, even for veteran gamers. Plus, the Amazonia jungle themed, hand-drawn artwork is absolutely impressive and stylish. And who doesn’t love Hat Kid? Punch your way through the heart of the jungle to find Tunche!”

Late Review“Pretty Girls Panic! PLUS improves what its predecessor lacked and continues to make a cutting board puzzle game entertaining. However, the extra content only goes so far and ultimately feels unfinished. It’s a plus minus, instead of a plus plus.”

Late Review“Sakura Santa has its silly moments across its multiple storylines. However, the lack of content and the confusing user interfaces make it a challenge to revisit. If you enjoy harem anime and fan service, you’ll enjoy Sakura Santa, even if it’s a short festival.”
