Unless you absolutely need a jump scare fix, this is a game that will suitably be lost to time for being a shameless cash grab on the P.T. craze.

It feels like a paid demo and in no way a complete project.

Evil Inside resigns itself to being a cliché-laden homage of P.T.

Evil Inside is a great game to take some jump scares, nothing more. Besides the short duration, the characters design is really awfull and the challenges does not exist. Stay away from this and use your money wisely with another game.

Evil Inside is yet another failed attempt to recapture the brilliance of PT in a “full game” format, but it ends up missing the mark in every single way you could possibly imagine. This isn’t scary at all, it’s just boring, uninteresting, and most importantly, annoying, mostly due to the overabundance of loud noises and jump scares. There are much better PT-inspired horror games out there, so don’t fret with this one.

You can finish Evil Inside in one sitting, in less than an hour, and that combined with the fact that none of what it does is worth a lot of praise means that spending money on the game isn't something that anyone should do.

Those who know the Silent Hills demo P.T. from summer 2014 will quickly feel at home. The hallway of Mark's house is confusingly similar to the one in P.T., and from now on you have to get through the door at the end of the hallway by triggering events or solving puzzles. Unfortunately, Evil Inside doesn't manage to join the ranks of the above-mentioned successful genre representatives. It is too uninspired and predictable for that. The only good thing about the game is that it is over quickly.

So, should you buy Evil Inside? Probably not unless you’re really desperate to be reminded of P.T., or truly love jump scares. Though even then, the fact that it’s only an hour long should make you think twice. On the balance of things it’s not a terrible horror game, but it brings nothing new to the table at all. It tries to mimic P.T. but is inferior to it in pretty much every way. Even worse, you have to pay for the pleasure.

Evil Inside is a bad copy of P.T., with a shallow story and less than one hour of useless repetition and annoying jumpscare.

A noble atempt to emulate the horror we experienced with P.T., but the final result is not as engaging. It needs a better closure.
