Launch Window“Silent Hope is a very enjoyable roguelike title with a cute Chibi anime aesthetic that would honestly be perfectly suited for the Nintendo Switch. Playing the game on Steam made me wish I had a Steam Deck to play this title on. It’s great to pick up and play in short bursts as you do a quick run through a dungeon, return back to your base camp and put some stuff to craft before venturing out again.”

Launch Window“Silent Hope is a simple action RPG that provides plenty of fun even if it doesn't pose a substantial challenge. Paying all playable characters equal attention will lead to redundancy, but shifting your focus to just a few will help the quick combat and hero customization to carry you through.”

Early Review“If Silent Hope's repetitive nature and lack of difficulty don't scare you and you are looking for a quick, addicting single player action RPG, that is pleasing to the eye and ear, look no further.”

Early Review“While stage hazards attempt to mix up the gameplay, they just don't do enough to add the variety I had hoped for; the same can be said of enemies, many of whom are basically palette swaps. Bosses are the highlight, both cinematically and from a combat perspective; I just wish there were more of them. With hours of additional content post-credits thanks to an unlockable hard mode, much like its farming-focused cousins, Silent Hope finds its place in being video gaming comfort food that you can easily dive into at any time, and I am definitely going back for seconds.”

Early Review“Silent Hope is a lenient hack-and-slash title that'll keep you entertained grinding for everything from materials to classes! If dungeon crawlers are your type of game, this one was very fun.”

Early Review“Silent Hope is a challenging dungeon crawler with familiar sights from Rune Factory sprinkled in and there's definitely some fun to be had for those looking for a more action-packed adventure that's set in the same universe. However, the unbalanced heroes and mandatory grinding will certainly put off many players.”

Early Review“With an addictive gameplay loop, I think Silent Hope is a harmless and perfect recommendation for everyone. And while it doesn't answer the age-old question about the nuances of communication, it at least raises interesting arguments for its meaning within its own medium.”

Early Review“Ultimately Silent Hope is a refreshing return to form for Marvelous. Cute characters, great voicework, fun (and grindy) beat’em up combat. It’s a distillation of Rune Factory combat with simplified crafting and no conventional farming mechanics (there is a farm though).”

Early Review“Silent Hope seems like a simple premise, but it is executed beautifully. The level of challenge is just right, the loot that is picked up with each run gives a very satisfying feeling, and the story is a journey, not only in what happened within this kingdom but also an exploration of mental health and pride. It truly becomes a dungeon crawler with hidden depths as the philosophy behind the story comes into play and the need to know more of what happened drives players to want to keep going and try to get a little further. Silent Hope is truly a well-crafted experience that offers much more than meets the eye.”
