Late Review“The Exit 8 and The Exit 8 VR is a short experience. You can finish it in 10 to 15 minutes I'm sure, or you can be like me and spend over an hour in there. There isn't much to the game, but it is an interesting experience that tests your powers of observation. I can't compare it to other walking simulators as there isn't anything else quite like it, but those looking for a short puzzle will most likely enjoy it.”

Late Review“While the journey is brief, The Exit 8 VR packs a lot of unnerving atmosphere and enticing discovery into its runtime. Its unsettling presentation and anxiety-inducing gameplay sucked me in for the full ride.”

Late Review“The Exit 8 is a short horror experience that feels more like an introduction to VR psychological horrors than anything else.”

Late Review“Made it to the end of the review and made it out alive? Then surely you’re intrigued enough to venture into the mysterious metro tunnels. Despite its minimalist nature, The Exit 8 VR is a surreal experience only enhanced thanks to the immersion provided through virtual reality. At just over an hour long, it’s a bite-sized experience that feels less like a videogame, and more like an interactive piece of art. If you’re a VR enthusiast and have a fascination for the disturbing, you’d be mad not to enter the Exit 8 VR.”

Late Review“The Exit 8 is an incredibly unique and massively memorable experience, and for the price of a coffee it's very easy to recommend.”

Late Review“The Exit 8 is a unique and interesting experience, but not one of substance. The “hidden object” gameplay is very shallow and was designed to be picked up and played by anybody with eyes, thumbs, and index fingers. This is a novel and amusing distraction that works as intended and earns a few good chills when played in the dead of a silent night.”

Late Review“Less a proper game and more of an odd and repetitive loop of walking around looking for small changes to amuse yourself”

Late Review“It’s a clever little title, handles well on the Switch and comes in at the same price as a Happy Meal. While it won’t blow away critics at the end of the year, The Exit 8 is memorable and serves as a good proof of concept, like how P.T. once captivated players across the world with unspeakable dread.”
