Late Review“While it has interesting play, and some good arcade sensibilities, it just doesn’t play well on the whole”

Late Review“While My Night Job may seem limited in scope and primarily geared toward gamers who enjoy chasing high scores in classic arcade style, it offers surprising depth, balance, and attention to detail within the floors of its haunted mansion. Its price tag is more than justified for those who appreciate a quirky but deep experience like this.”

Late Review“For all of its flaws, I have some love for My Night Job thanks to the "one more go" appeal, leaderboards, and overall humour and aesthetic.”

Late Review“Although it means well, and has bags of character, My Night Job just doesn't have the depth to keep the player hooked and its gameplay becomes repetitive very quickly.”

Launch Window“My Night Job is an entertaining homage to older video games and the horror genre, but its repetitive nature and lack of replay value hold it back.”

Launch Window“While this isn’t a job I’d personally want to take on, I’m glad Reggie did, because if he didn’t, I wouldn’t get to watch him try and fail so often, because that’s really fun to do.”

Launch Window“Overall I rate the game a 5, not because the game wasn’t fun which it is but because this is a game that is clearly more at home as a mobile title rather than a console title. As a console title, it feels lacking and weak. If it was a mobile game I’d score the game a solid 7.”
