Late Review“War Tech Fighters is a 3D space shooter of mechas as protagonists, which has its great incentive in its ease of handling, a well-measured action, a fairly high level of customization, several game modes, and although visually it's enough, the performance in certain moments could be better. Still, a great space epic awaits us if we decide to use our War Tech to fight the evil Zatros Empire.”

Late Review“War Tech Fighters is a good first effort in creating full fledged game. Good, but still missing features, looking ugly at times and borrowing, if not stealing, gameplay elements from other games. And cheaper than most of games you've played this year.”

Late Review“Overall War Tech Fighters brings about an amazing Mech experience to the table. With plenty of customization, missions, training and more, it won’t take long before even the greenest rookie becomes an ace as they head out into yet another mission.”

Late Review“Unfortunately, this game is held back by the lack of original ideas. Nearly everything in this game has been done in previous Mech games, and typically a lot better too. Even down to the name of the game itself “War Tech Fighters”, yeah you use these pieces of tech to fight in a war. Regardless, it still manages to offer up a fun experience. Plus it has a far deeper leveling up system and customization options than I originally thought it would have. So, despite some muddy controls and an insignificant story, for only twenty bucks, this game will go a long way in holding people over for the major Mech games on the horizon.”

Late Review“War Tech Fighters does exhibit a few rough spots here and there, but it is undeniable that it ticks all the right boxes for any self-respecting mecha fan. As of right now, it's a toss-up between this and Project Nimbus Complete Edition for the title of top mecha game on Switch, but if you're after a fast and exciting robot-based space shooter and don't mind long loading times and the odd awkward menu system, then this is worth a look.”

Late Review“For mech fans, there is certainly something to be said for the customization that War Tech Fighters brings to the table. Beyond that, there is a solid space game that unfortunately doesn't make the best use of the mechs themselves. If you're a fan of one or the other, you may lose interest, but as an avid fan of both, I found plenty to enjoy.”

Late Review“If having giant robot battles in space is your jam than War Tech Fighters is probably worth jumping into. While the story is forgettable, the actual combat and ability to upgrade and customize the War Techs was very satisfying and engaging to me.”

Late Review“War Tech Fighters is a mecha game that is kind of fun, even if it can't reach its potential because of a series of issues that affect even what the game does best.”

Late Review“War Tech Fighters is raw, unadulterated robot action. The flashy combat and easy to master controls make it a blast to dive in and play. The design aesthetic and narrative are lacking massively, which makes it hard to stick with the game for a long time, but if all you're looking for is some simple robot blasting action, War Tech Fighters will be right up your alley.”

Late Review“Overall, this game is one of the more fun games that I have reviewed in the last year. I love the Gundam Wing feel to the game and how it incorporates the smaller vessels and other capital ships into the fights as well. Listed for $19.99 USD and available starting on June 27, 2019, this will be a game that you can easily get into with minimum drain on your wallet. If you are looking for a game that merges anime style characters with the heavy hitting game scene this is definitely the one for you and I highly recommend it.”

Late Review“I would say War Tech Fighters does a fairly good job of living up to the claim of combining anime with blockbusters. The action is fairly steady throughout the game. The ability to upgrade and customize your War Tech is tons of fun. Aside from the load times, everything about this game says yes. If you're looking for a ton of action, War Tech Fighters is certainly a game you should try.”

Late Review“It does its job well as a Gundam-style mech shooter, but it just doesn't do quite enough to keep me going back in for more action. The majority of levels are just “go here, shoot this, follow that”, which unfortunately gets very repetitive after a couple of hours. There's a lot you can do with customisation, though.”

Late Review“War Tech Fighters is simply good enough. The gameplay seems limited since you don't get a sense of movement, and specific mech fighting is restricted to quick fights with other mechs and one-hit cut scene kills, but the constant flow of action mitigates that a bit. The side missions and grinding for cash makes up for a lack of multiplayer, and the presentation is fine but nothing feels like it's state of the art. War Tech Fighters won't be your next all-time favorite mech game, but you'll still have a good time rolling through the campaign.”
