Allyson Cygan at NintendoWorldReport

Feb 11, 2026 | Score 60

“It's very cute and charming, but the gameplay loop is just too slow for my liking. There are also other choices that just don't make sense to me, like I wish there was an actual, trackable quest log. There's a lot to like, but if you want any amount of friction to your gameplay I'd recommend looking elsewhere. However, if you just want to relax in a cute world as a cute cartoon animal, you could do much worse than cozy Caravan.”

In the face of this, though, the developers do give me hope with their active hands on approach, and perhaps in the future, could add more to the game. “The game is okay, and I’d suggest picking it up to numb your brain on the weekend. But it does become repetitive rather quickly, thanks to the lack of tools or fun upgrades. I would have thought as you upgraded the trash bin, we would have unlocked some funny tools, like a vacuum cleaner or maybe bombs for getting through rubbish quicker. I would also suggest maybe having the dog clear trash rather than just finding valuable items. As the game doesn’t make them all that hard to uncover. This is why I’m giving My Wife Threw Out My Card Collection (So I Bought a Dump to Find Them All) the Thumb Culture Silver Award.”

“Taxi Chaos 2 is a solid game that has shaken off a lot of the issues that plagued the first game, but some still hang on. Great visuals, controls, and perfectly fine for quick blasts of arcade action, it’s a recommendation for fans – and I know there are many – of Crazy Taxi-esque games. That said, as much of a pleasure it is to see the strides this sequel has taken, in a couple of years I’d love to be covering Taxi Chaos 3 and awarding it a 9/10 as there really is some magic under the bonnet of this franchise and plenty of gas left in the tank!”
