“Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons is a sweet twist on classic Bubble Bobble gameplay, mixing nostalgia with roguelite progression. Its charm lies in the candy-coated visuals, upbeat soundtrack, and bubble-based mechanics, but the grind, control issues, and one-hit kills weigh down the fun. For fans of the series or those seeking a quirky roguelite challenge, it offers a flavorful but imperfect adventure.”

“Dirtbag Mahjong is a relatively casual little single-player Mahjong game with a fun little twist, starring an irreverent sitcom-esque basement full of largely sapphic/LGBTQ+ goofs. The story mode is hit and miss in its humor and gameplay, but I enjoyed enough of it for what it was. It’s a relatively casual little game best enjoyed at your own pace, where it can be decently fun.”

It’s a tightly focused, mechanically sound shooter that caters to players who enjoy precision, repetition, and self-imposed challenges. At the same time, its limited presentation, uneven difficulty spikes, and lack of variety prevent it from standing out in an increasingly crowded indie scene. For those seeking a quick-hit arcade experience to play between larger titles, Schildmaid MX offers moments of genuine satisfaction. “Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved is a competent adventure game, capable of pleasing both newcomers and veterans. It features a well-constructed world, well-developed characters, and a very pleasing aesthetic. My main criticism is that it rarely manages to be more than just the sum of its parts: it's a well-executed game, but it doesn't stand out in any specific aspect when compared to other well-established games in the genre. It's ideal for those who want to discover if the genre is for them, especially since it's short and easy. Veterans should also enjoy it, although they may feel that Detective Instinct doesn't offer anything that other more acclaimed titles haven't already done.”

Sea battles just aren't that appealing, lacking any kind of rewarding strategic depth or enjoyability. However, for those wanting a fresh way of tackling the campaign map, War Sails introduces new tactical opportunities and a layer of ship management some Bannerlord players will find themselves engrossed in. In short, this isn't a must-buy expansion and for new players we'd recommend sticking with the base game.”

“There is not a single positive thing about Night Shift Nurses as it exists. It’s a horrific concept with the execution of someone diving into an empty pool. The graphics are fine because you don’t have to see anything, the writing creates a desire for illiteracy and the moral of the story is that God is dead and visual novels killed Him (or Her!). I would rather spend twenty dollars to have someone fly a drone with a box cutter on it into my stomach, because it would hurt less and be a more interesting story.”

Perhaps that’s the point — that finding solace takes pain, perseverance, and self-determination. I can respect the vision, but I’m just not sure the final product did that vision justice. I admire the effort put into Constance and commend bildundtonfabrik for treating the mental health crisis with the care and compassion it deserves. If ever the team created a sequel, this canvas could really take flight. As is, Constance is a good oeuvre that could’ve been great.”
