“Bunker Tidy Up is as simple and straightforward as you would expect. It scratches that organization itch without involving niche hurdles or objectives to overcome. Unfortunately that also leads to a fairly short-lived game that doesn’t bring much, if anything, to the table for replayability. However, it doesn’t come off as a “janky” game despite using some well-worn mechanics and simple assets. So I am still awarding the Thumb Culture Gold Award.”

“Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 has the makings of a stronger sequel, with more varied jobs, property layouts, and lawn-care tasks. Unfortunately, frequent bugs, collision issues, inconsistent mowing detection, and wonky mower handling regularly turn what should be a relaxing experience into a frustrating one. In its current state, it needs more time and patches before it’s worth recommending.”

“I adore Dressmaker. It is easily one of my top played games of the year. It’s nostalgic, cozy and the story is so memorable. The concept is so charming and the ability to replay and try new designs as well. For some players, I can see the gameplay loop being a bit repetitive, but personally it’s comforting and adds to the appeal. Sometimes all it takes is a needle, thread and a little nostalgia to leave a stitch on your heart.”

In Paddle Paddle Paddle, you must work together to guide a tiny raft through tricky obstacles, deadly gaps, and challenging platforming sections. The controls are simple, but mastering the physics and synchronizing your paddling is another story entirely. Expect plenty of falls, frustrating retries, and arguments over whose fault it really was.”

“Awkward AI disclaimers aside, Cards Everywhere is just another tidy up game in a sea of tidy up games. It doesn’t do anything wrong but it doesn’t do anything differently either. Then you add in the awkward tip toe around AI and it just makes things fall flat. I’ve got to give Cards Everywhere the Thumb Culture Bronze Award. It’s a super low price point but you could pick any game in the tidy up library and still find the same game. Check out our other PC reviews here to find other games worth adding to your library!”
