“Trading Card Simulator is fun, it is well-made, and I enjoyed it. In order to deserve a higher rating, it needs a wow factor, which it sadly lacks; I don’t think it brings anything novel to the genre. But it’s a highly competent and fun entry in the catalog. If you like job simulators, tongue-in-cheek meta humor, and doing mental math, you’ll enjoy this one. Some games are just a bop. Trading Card Inspector is a bop. Enjoy!”

“Momento isn’t changing the entire landscape of the genre or anything, but it’s an incredibly well-made and well-rounded game. If you enjoy cozy games broadly, or room decorating, dioramas, light puzzles, environmental storytelling, and tracing branching paths, then you will enjoy this game. I am docking it half a point for the disappointing audio—it might be just a ‘me’ thing (read my bio to see why), but I was really stumped on that. But I’ll just throw on a little cozy gaming podcast episode (No Small Games? Geeks and Grounds? How about some Slow Burn Podcast?) and enjoy the ride? The stories are lovely, and the puzzles are pleasantly delightful.”

“The Gothic Remake experience is certainly not for everyone, but those willing to pluck up the courage to get through the first few intense hours of gameplay will find it well worth their while, thanks to entertaining gameplay and a vast, detailed world just waiting to be explored. “​Maybe it’s a mixture of burnout with the roguelike genre of late or the fact I went in expecting a fusion of two genres I really enjoyed, but River City Saga: Journey to the West just didn’t click with me. It felt too basic in all areas, and what was once a strong leader in the beat 'em up genre is now trailing behind the stronger releases from Dotemu. ​It’s still pretty serviceable without any particularly massive issues, there just isn’t that special sauce here that I needed to really enjoy my latest Kunio-Kun fix. It’s cheeky, it’s fast-paced, and it's chaotic, but sadly, it feels like a rare miss in the long-running River City series, eclipsed by its much stronger predecessors in the River City Saga spin-off series.”

“Ultimately, Goals is barely worth the time it takes for you to download it. “If you're a fan of cycling and the Tour de France, Tour de France 2026 has a lot to offer, especially in how well it captures the racing action itself. “All in all, Cheap Car Repair has a fun premise, but I feel like it doesn’t live up to its full potential. The bootleg repairs and improvisations are great when they actually happen. The main feature of the game feels pretty underutilized outside of some select story missions. Between the janky mechanics and the genuinely unnecessary use of AI, the game definitely has its flaws. Still, the fun quests and quirky story missions can give you a decent few hours of gameplay. Just don’t expect it to keep you hooked forever. Overall, I am giving Cheap Car Repair the Thumb Culture Silver Award.”

“Those of you who are here for a good time and not for a long time will probably enjoy Midnight Swamp. It does all the basics pretty well and any point-and-click adventure fan would enjoy this; that being said, the length felt more akin to a demo and some more ambitious meta-game would have been welcome. A promising platform for Wild Omul to build upon and I, for one, am excited to see what they do next.”

“Mina the Hollower has been on many gamers lists for a long time coming and I'm happy to say, it's not bad. It lets you experience "old school hard" gameplay or new age accessible gameplay in hopes of reaching all players. It lets you experience the game in so many ways that fit you which is something I think most games don't allow. “At the end of the day, Escape the Backrooms is just a fantastically fun and scary co-op experience. It's not some highly curated horror with flashy graphics and audio design, nor does it break the wheel in any wild way. But considering you are basically being put in a level with some murderous creature and being asked to avoid it and escape time and time again, Escape the Backrooms manages to keep things impressively fresh.”

“Crashout Crew: Stack, Don't Freak Out competently fulfills its purpose: to deliver a chaotic, fun, and absurd cooperative experience that transforms a simple warehouse into a logistical battlefield. The absence of public matchmaking or open lobbies is a gap that limits the experience's reach and excludes those who don't have friends available for an impromptu session. In solo mode, the game is still fun, but clearly operates below its potential.”
