Feb 11, 2026 | Score 70

“A slick, approachable blend of classic Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move gameplay and rhythm mechanics, QQQbeats!!! is tons of fun, and said fun is elevated by a very good soundtrack and charming presentation. Its simplicity makes it a title that’s easy to pick up and play, yet it’s surprisingly hard to master, so be prepared to lose 10 (or more) consecutive matches against a teenager from abroad. The somewhat low mechanical variety and limited number of modes curb its long-term appeal, however, so approach cautiously.”

It’s not trying to reinvent the formula, but it doesn’t need to; the core idea still works brilliantly. “Dying Light: The Beast is a triumphant return to form for Techland, stripping away the RPG bloat of its predecessor to deliver a focused, terrifying, and adrenaline-fueled survival horror experience. The resurrection of Kyle Crane is handled with narrative weight and emotional resonance, anchored by Roger Craig Smith’s stellar performance. While human AI remains a weak link, the atmospheric setting of Castor Woods combined with the ferocious new 'Beast Mode' mechanics makes this arguably the most satisfying entry in the series. It’s a lean, mean, zombie-slaying machine that respects the player's time and skill.”
