I will remember “Berserk or Die” not for its design, but for its unique controls. The fact that I can control the strength and distance of my attacks by pressing several keys on the keyboard at the same time draws me incredibly into the game.

“SpreadCheat” is a Sudoku-like puzzle game with a lot of 90s charm. In terms of gameplay, it is unspectacular and not very challenging. However, the crude humor kept me entertained during the short playing time.

If I hadn't played “Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator” for a test, I would have left it behind after a short time - despite some bright spots. I like the idea of racing through San Pelicano in an ambulance and rescuing people. The depth of the game design with the different medical instruments for treatment is also good. But the boring gameplay, the lousy controls and the many bugs are too annoying. The game seems unfinished and could have done with more fine-tuning. I therefore can't recommend it in its current state.

“Spirit of the Samurai” feels unfinished. A lot of gameplay elements feel half-baked – especially the annoying platformer passages. The story didn't grab me either, although the dark setting in feudal Japan would actually be right up my street. In the end, the stop-motion look is by far the best aspect of the game. And that alone is not enough for me to recommend it.

Autopsy Simulator offers an exciting, entertaining story - provided you have no problems with performing virtual autopsies on corpses. You shouldn't expect too much from the gameplay. For the most part, the game plays like a tutorial - it's a far cry from a "simulation". Perhaps this will change when the "Autopsy Only Mode" is available. If you are willing to shell out 28 francs / euros for a good story, you can still pick it up.
