Woolhaven is everything you would want in a DLC. It only adds to what makes Cult of the Lamb special, with the visuals and characters all being as charming as ever. All the hard work you put into raising your cult is put at risk if you cannot calm the storm. A little piece of me died whenever a follower perished. You are forced to adapt to the new climate; it’s hard but not punishing.

Blippo+ is definitely unique, and I have never played anything like it. I didn’t have any sort of video games growing up, so when I was sick from school, I used to watch daytime television. Blippo+ takes me back to sitting on the couch with flat lemonade watching Days of Our Lives and I am here for it. It is obvious that a lot of love and effort has gone into recording the shows, and it comes across in every aspect.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Bad Cheese and would recommend it to anyone who likes things on the weirder side of life. However, without the ability to chapter select, any missed collectibles means a completely new playthrough, which might be a turn off for completionists.

Even though I had to start again and there were broken achievements, I still had a lot of fun with Spray Paint Simulator. I hope that North Star Games has lots of DLC planned for it because I need more. With it being on Game Pass, it’s well worth spending a relaxing afternoon in the sun painting your car. With the curtains closed, of course.

With Trident’s Tale being a weird mix of kid-friendly writing that at times made me feel like I was watching an episode of Blue’s Clues and a difficult combat loop, this could be the perfect family game. Trident’s Tale could be a great introduction for kids looking to try their hand at an action game without the grim tones that usually come with piracy. Unfortunately, for this reviewer, the charm of the cute art style and awkward dialogue wore off.

Cash Cleaning Simulator is a lot of fun, throwing around piles of cash. Stuffing it into mattresses, knocking over boxes, and spilling thousands of dollars across the floor. My only criticism is that it was too long. If it had been half the length, it would have felt less like a chore towards the end.

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator needs a lot of polishing work. The core gameplay loop is extremely addictive. Trying to master all the different procedures and figure out what instruments go where keeps you on your toes. It’s unfortunate that Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator is missing so many of the final polishing touches, that take away from the meat and bones that makes it a great simulation game.

While my time spent with Mea Culpa and Blasphemous 2 was frustrating to say the least it was still very enjoyable with the DLC adding a lot of new content. Even if you must go back through areas you have already explored, but what would a Metroidvania be without a little bit of backtracking?
