Early Review“I went into Disciples: Domination with no prior knowledge of the series and have come out the other side a fan. Its grievance and resource system builds a solid foundation for a sequel and Nevendaar and its casts of characters is a world I want to see more of. If Artefacts can flesh out some of the new mechanics to have even more variety and get the combat to require just a bit more strategy they truly have something here. As is Disciples: Domination is a very good RPG that should be worth a look to anyone into turn based RPGs.”

Launch Window“Easy to learn, hard to master, perhaps even more difficult to complete. It is a roguelite so even if you complete one run, you probably haven’t fully seen everything there is to see. The positive with this DLC is that while it is more of the same Monster Train 2 you’ve come to love, there’s more than enough to rejuvenate the game. Especially for those who love the challenge. The addition of a separate logbook and the ability to make sure that no one can get the story out of order would probably make this a perfect DLC. Perhaps in time these small tidbits will be added. Even without this, the DLC is well worth your time. If you’re a Monster Train 2 fan who has stepped away for a bit, now is the time to return.”

Launch Window“Woolhaven is everything you would want in a DLC. It only adds to what makes Cult of the Lamb special, with the visuals and characters all being as charming as ever. All the hard work you put into raising your cult is put at risk if you cannot calm the storm. A little piece of me died whenever a follower perished. You are forced to adapt to the new climate; it’s hard but not punishing.”

Launch Window“In much the same way FEZ once did, Cassette Boy reminded me that perspective is not just a mechanical trick, but a way of thinking. By asking the player to actively look at the world differently, to question what exists, what doesn’t, and why, it creates moments of quiet wonder that feel increasingly rare in modern games. Cassette Boy may present itself as small, nostalgic, and unassuming, but beneath that familiar surface lies a game deeply interested in curiosity, perception, and the joy of discovery. Cassette Boy isn’t just about how changing our perspective can be important; it can also be incredibly rewarding.”

Launch Window“To bring this all home, Kejora, despite the occasional flaws that I noted, was a pleasure to experience. The story spoke to matters of protecting those around you and what you would do to ensure the safety of others, and did so in a nice, concise few hour package. And in a world of video games that ask upwards of 100 hours of gameplay to finish (yes, I play JRPG’s if you weren’t aware), a brief tale like Kejora is a welcome experience.”

Launch Window“Teamkill Media’s 2nd game in 3 years made by 4 people, leaves much to be desired. It’s a near full priced game on a closed platform like the PlayStation 5. Code Violet is a game that boasts player urgency, discovery, and the appreciation of a strong and beautiful female lead. However, their game didn’t reflect their talk. My overall experience was not the greatest, most of the time I was bewildered by what I played. It’s not a game I can recommend at release, especially not for the asking price. It’s a campy, playable game. A game one can enjoy in a several sitting, when you have disposable time and money to spend. And perhaps a much lower price point.”

Launch Window“Death Howl is a tough, atmospheric, and surprisingly emotional experience. Its blend of deckbuilding and tactical combat is clever and demanding, its visuals are hauntingly beautiful, and its story hits harder than you might expect from a game built around cards and grids. It’s not for everyone – the difficulty alone will put some players off – but if you enjoy games that challenge both your strategy and your resilience, it’s absolutely worth your time.”

Late Review“By now, I thought I’d be tired of the formulaic cat hunting. Alas, I am still here and I know the community is still behind the series, for now. ‘Cats’ fans can expect more of the same, though with little innovation I wonder whether the cat-shaped bubble will burst in the near future. For now, Istanbul has been a visual pleasure.”

Launch Window“Overall, I found As I Began to Dream a well-grounded and enjoyable entry into the puzzle-platformer genre, despite some of the gameplay shifts and handful of technical hiccups. The story the game presents, while tragic and heart-breaking, provides hope that there is a brighter corner around the murky beast that is grief. Strayflux provided a wonderful portrayal of such a complex emotion that is grief in the unique medium that is video gaming.”

Launch Window“But did I enjoy my time with Constance? I did, despite my rageful moments. Constance presents a deeper than surface-level approach to the Metroidvania genre and poses the question “What would our inner world look like in cases of significant anxiety and depression in our external world?” In recent years, I have been someone who struggles more with anxiety. It’s not easy at times, but Constance allowed myself, and hopefully others, to understand this one thing: it’s OK to ask for help.”

Launch Window“There’s something special about GIGASWORD. Beneath its technical flaws and occasional frustrations lies a game built with real care, a throwback that manages to feel both familiar and fresh. It’s rough around the edges, certainly, but every pixel and puzzle carries the mark of a creator swinging for something big. I genuinely enjoyed my time with it, even when its issues got in the way, and I hope future updates can smooth out the experience so more players can appreciate what’s here. Like its protagonist burdened by his colossal blade, GIGASWORD stumbles under its own weight, but still manages to stand tall in the end.”

Late Review“Stunning colours, lovingly recreated Brazilian settings and the right amount of content make Hidden Cats in Rio de Janeiro one of my favourite entries in Nukearts’ franchise. I would have loved for there to have been a favela stage but there’s still plenty of game in here for the price of a warm drink.”

Early Review“Abysmal game breaking bugs destroy any opportunity A Pizza Delivery had to be a good indie. Progress preventing issues plagued my playthrough, with visual bugs leaving the game’s pretty environments and textures to pop in and out so badly I often couldn’t see the way forward. Whilst bugs can be forgiven for a solo-developer who likely has limited QA testing options, A Pizza Delivery needed more time in the oven and simply should not be launching in the state of the build I was provided.”

Launch Window“Outside of playing a few hours of the first Red Dead Redemption, coupled with testing out a friend’s copy of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Westerns and mech games are a relatively untread genre for me. It’s not through active dislike…it’s just…there are so many other genres of games that no person can simply taste all of them equally. Bounty Star, in my opinion, presents a solid story of survival and overcoming trauma and grief that is unfortunately hampered by its gameplay. Had there been the provision of more frequent Bounties throughout the game, coupled with a stronger benefit of managing your “farm”, I think that this easily could have been at least a 9 out of 10 game. But it’s the little nagging thought that was in the back of my head that kept going “This story…doesn’t need this long to be told.””

Early Review“Devil Jam enters an already crowded arena of “Survivor” roguelikes and auto-battlers, but struggles to carve out a lasting identity. While its beat-driven combat and metal-inspired aesthetic offer a fresh twist, the lack of stage variety, limited boss roster, and underwhelming progression system make it hard to stay invested beyond a few runs. The single looping arena and sparse backstage hub contribute to a sense of repetition, and without meaningful unlocks or evolving challenges, replayability suffers. In a genre overflowing with inventive alternatives, Devil Jam feels more like a novelty than a staple – fun in short bursts, but unlikely to hold attention for long.”

Launch Window“Undusted: Letters from the Past only took me around 4 hours to complete, but not only will I be returning to collect all the hidden steam achievements, but because of the gameplay itself. The story may not change, but cleaning and restoring objects was so peaceful. There was no pressure, no rush, just a calming experience that gave me space to sit with my thoughts and truly reflect on the narrative.”
