Foolish Mortals is at its core a charming adventure, held back by a weaker script, an overlong running time, and an unbalanced art style. Even so, it offers plenty of reasons to like it.

The Jester and the Madman is an enjoyable Lovecraftian morsel that may feature somewhat flat characters and dialogues that can feel a bit stiff at times, but it makes up for it with its well-crafted aesthetics and inventive puzzles.

Fading Serenades is an enjoyable little bite-sized experience, but it quickly becomes quite repetitive, and its higher price doesn’t do it any favors either. Still, it offers a few reasons why it might be worth giving a chance—especially when it’s on sale.

Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is an interesting genre hybrid that hides a highly atmospheric and entertaining game within. Unfortunately, it sometimes ends up tripping over its own feet.

The Lacerator is a dream come true for all fans of horror and crazy B-movies. It’s a game made with love for the genre, and despite its obviously smaller budget and technical shortcomings, it has tremendous charm.

Sushi Ben is a pleasant little bite-sized experience that can entertain, and if you’re in the mood for a feel-good game, it’s definitely worth a try. Just be wary of the repetitiveness and the weaker content outside the main story.

Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders is a very pleasant detective story for a chilly evening, with lighthearted and amusing twists. It’s true that the game sometimes loses its pace, but it’s still an easygoing little snack.

Despite its flaws, it is a hidden gem among CRPG titles that every fan of the genre—and of dark magic in general—should play. Beneath its unassuming visuals lies a well-written story and over 40 hours of necromantic fun.

After many years, we have finally seen an adventure game that clearly shows the ideas, diligence and passion of its creators. Main part of Elroy and the Aliens, which is story, is unfortunately not as good as the rest of the game. Still, it's a nice title that can keep you entertained if you know what to expect from it.
