R-Type Delta HD Boosted is an excellent and very challenging space shoot ’em up that falls short due to a re-release lacking meaningful extras and improvements, making it essential only for fans.

Sweaty Chair adopts Master Tingus’ peculiar, comedic, and surreal style to bring this grotesque life cycle to life. Perhaps I am reading too much into it and inferring themes and metaphors that are ultimately meant to be nothing more than absurd, but there is a message, a concrete idea, and an artistic vision that come through clearly in the cinematics connecting the various levels of Tingus Goose.

Without VR, Alien: Rogue Incursion becomes a more predictable experience, with few spikes of intensity or terror, although it remains largely solid in its adaptation.

With a strong narrative focus, GoldFire Studios’ Arctic Awakening feels like a five-episode series with a well-defined arc, aiming to be an event for fans of the genre, but ultimately getting lost in gameplay that’s too passive and dialogues that are more tiring than engaging.

The big problem with Henry Halfhead is that the endint is strong, but the journey to the conclusion isn’t always consistent, and the message gets lost between attempts at mechanical inventiveness and repetition.

A Spoonful of Wonder had its heart in the right place, and Copycat earns some of its more emotional moments, but the final message isn’t always clear, and the gameplay holds back what could’ve been a fresh perspective within the genre.

After several years of waiting, Post Trauma is finally available on PC and consoles, but what could have been a solid tribute to the horror genre turns out to be a series of disappointing choices that only make us appreciate the classic survival horrors even more.
