Late Review“Tunche tries many things to set itself apart from the other roguelites. While at first combat feels fast and exciting, it quickly becomes repetitive before even finishing the first run. A great art style helps but doesn’t make up for the other shortcomings. Fans of roguelites might find Tunche fun for a few runs, but others might want to pass on this one.”

Launch Window“The combat doesn’t get old thanks to the mini-core system and cool weapons. The writing is genuinely heartfelt with fantastic localization, and there’s even unlockable fan art. And, again, the visual and audio presentation is fantastic, with great user interface design. There’s plenty of replay value in unlocking new items and improving scores, and uncovering the story is fun.”

Launch Window“Overall, Maneater: Truth Quest is still a fun little addition to the game. It would’ve been nice for the game to offer a bigger shark, but when you add mouth lasers, you’re already pretty powerful. While the story lacks depth and fun references, it still maintains the simple charm thanks to Chris Parnell’s delivery. Just try to play it on higher end hardware for the best results. If you were a fan of Maneater and wanted a bit more on your platter, Truth Quest will likely appease your appetite.”

Launch Window“Overall, Tetragon is a great idea on paper, but the end result is frustrating and underwhelming. With the shift in difficulty and mechanics halfway through, it’s hard to say if it’s worth persevering through the second half until the end.”

Launch Window“Overall, Star Hunter DX is able to distinguish itself from its numerous peers through a focus on strong gameplay. For a small indie game, it packs a punch in content for shmup lovers. While it has few stand out moments, newcomers and veterans will be entertained by its uncompromising classic feel.”

Launch Window“Personally, I’d love to see more games like The Vale: Shadow of the Crown in a wide range of settings. This game helps prove just how widely games can reach and how many players can be brought into the fold. Even with some plot that felt middle-of-the-road, The Vale’s framework sets a great example for zero-vision games. I hope it’s one of many to come.”

Late Review“I would argue that Urban Trial Tricky is one of the simpler, yet more fun games that I’ve played in recent memory. It’s got a straightforward formula that works well and has a nice visual sheen. While it won’t be graphically stunning, the gameplay more than makes up for it. Overall, it’s quite one-note, but in a way that’s serviceable, fun, and unoffensive.”

Launch Window“For under ten bucks, you really can’t go wrong with What The Dub?!. The clips offer plenty of opportunity to deliver hilarious and raunchy dialogue while also maintaining the B-movie charm. People at parties will surely have a good time, but streamers will especially have a lot of opportunities with the game. With 300 clips and some imagination, the possibilities are literally endless for this title.”

Late Review“Vaporum: Lockdown provides a fresh new take on tile based dungeon crawlers of old. The steampunk setting, as well as deep progression, enhance the already fluid combat to create a unique game that demands multiple playthroughs. While it can have moments of frustration, there’s some great fun to be had here. RPG fans may want to look into the game if they’re looking for something different, but nostalgic.”

Late Review“Overall, Summer Catchers is an aesthetically pleasing game. The simple, yet dynamic details immerse players into a magically unique environment. Players looking for a calming and unique game will find an addicting, but low-pressure experience here. Summer Catchers is perfect for the experienced binge-gamer, or the casual player looking for something to chip away at over time.”

Launch Window“If you are a fan of the series, this is well worth the 20 dollars, and it’s a fun experience even for a first timer. Whether you want a well polished romantic visual novel or a unique twist on a classic match three format, you’ll find something here. Just be aware of the more mature content.”

Launch Window“Games like Super Meat Boy and Celeste have become instant classics since their debut. While Sir Lovelot tries its best to imitate them, it never really escapes from their shadow. If you’re looking for a quick platformer to speed through, then give this one a try, otherwise this is an easy pass.”

Launch Window“Overall, Tanuki Justice has been one of the most fun sidescrolling run & guns I’ve endured. Paired with a colorful pixel background and rhythmic synth music, on top of exciting gameplay, the false nostalgia brings me back to when I first started playing video games.”

Launch Window“Overall, despite lacking in a few elements, Super Mario Bros. 35 has the standard Nintendo nostalgic quality with an inventive twist.”

Launch Window“Ultimately, it’s a shame that A Tale of Paper doesn’t achieve greater heights. It has the components to be a great game, but the final product just isn’t. The well developed environments and catchy melodies don’t do enough to save the game from the rest of its downfalls.”

Late Review“Feather is a short and sweet game that is enjoyable if not purely for its mellowness. The art, music, and visual variety heighten the experience to make it even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t provide a lot of replayability, bringing its value into question.”

Launch Window“In the end, it’s hard to recommend The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines. It’s not innovative, it’s not fun, the art style is not impressive, and the gameplay is very repetitive.”

Late Review“Overall, the Spider-Man: Far From Home Virtual Reality Experience is a fun time. It may be simple, but it gives players a chance to swing through the city like Spider-Man. While it doesn’t offer as much as a true VR game, for a free game, I honestly couldn’t ask for more.”

Launch Window“In Death: Unchained is a faithful VR title that does what it’s supposed to, albeit with noticeably less visible finesse. However, it feels stale in long playthroughs. I would recommend picking this one up if you consider yourself a fan of VR shooters. Otherwise, maybe skip this one.”

Launch Window“Overall, Dodo Peak is a great game to pass the time. With its repetitive nature and casual vibe, it’s a good choice for those who want something simple, or for a younger audience. It’s a pretty decent price point too. Just don’t expect anything much deeper than that and you’ll be fine.”
