Late Review“As a seasoned fan of 3D Platformers, Pac-Man World 2 RePac was a game I was eagerly looking forward to after it was revealed. Pac-Man is a series that could be so much more than fun arcade adventures. Strong reworked level design, tight platforming controls, challenging boss encounters, and a shockingly long post-game, alongside strong visuals and music, make this one meal you want a second course of.”

Launch Window“Ripple Island: Kyle and Cal's Restaurant is a game that needed more time in the oven. While it reinvents the 1988 classic for a modern audience and captures some charm in its writing and character designs, too many fundamental issues hold it back. When the stars align and you find a full online lobby or gather friends for local co-op, Ripple Island reveals glimpses of something genuinely fun and unique. But these moments of brilliance are too few and far between, buried under layers of poor design decisions and a nearly nonexistent player base. It's a noble attempt at reviving a forgotten classic, but Ripple Island arrives at the table undercooked and underseasoned.”

Launch Window“Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is a standout VR experience that blends stunning craftsmanship, immersive presentation, brilliant narration, and strategic depth into one unforgettable journey. Its respect for Forgotten Realms lore, its engaging class variety, and the power of Moe Rock’s narration elevate it to the top tier of VR fantasy adventures. Minor bugs aside, this collaboration delivers in ways both fans of Demeo and D&D will appreciate—making it the best tabletop-inspired VR title available today.”

Launch Window“Megabonk carves a spot among Survivors-like games, mixing its addictive core with Risk of Rain 2’s tension and a 3D twist that keeps you on your toes. Its goofy humor, banger soundtrack, and deep build options make every run a blast, even if limited stages and no weapon evolutions hold it back slightly. The varied characters and random upgrades keep things fresh, offering plenty of reasons to dive back in. If you want a Survivors-like game that feels new yet familiar, Megabonk delivers with fun vertical gameplay and tunes that stick with you. It’s an addictively satisfying roguelite that has me thoroughly hooked, and I will continue to come back post-review. With its low barrier of entry, it’s a must-try for fans of the genre and newcomers alike. Whether you’re playing in short bursts to wind down or telling yourself “Just one more run” after hours of play, there’s a Megaton of fun to be had with Megabonk.”

But the spikes in difficulty with a lot of bosses, coupled with the stiff and slow gameplay approach, dampened my otherwise great experience. While it is an inexpensive game to purchase, if you are planning to play solo, it may not be worth picking up due to its numerous flaws. If you do have a coop partner, however, the legacy this game leaves behind will be a much sweeter memory to you than how bitter it was for me.”

Launch Window“CloverPit will literally drag you down a dark, deep, and remorseful metaphorical hole. The game is insatiably addictive, and before you know it, you will naturally push your luck. The eerie atmosphere and mysterious story are the cherries on top. Though the roguelike mechanics are not groundbreaking, they function as expected and will leave you always longing for just one more run. That, in essence, is the hallmark of a great roguelike.”

Launch Window“Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch transforms tactical combat into a thrilling roguelike loop that never loses its edge. It’s a brutal yet rewarding evolution of Ocean Drive Studio’s formula. It challenges your mind, punishes your mistakes, and celebrates your perseverance. With refined combat, sharp design, and almost endless replay value, this is a journey that keeps pulling you back in for one more run.”

Launch Window“IRON GUARD: Salvation is more than just another VR tower defense game. It’s a desperate stand against extinction, brought to life with breathtaking visuals, finely tuned strategy, and the raw immersion of Meta Quest 3. Every wave of enemies feels like part of a larger war for survival, with meticulous attention to detail making the battlefield feel alive, while smooth performance and a smart difficulty curve keep the challenge fair. The skill tree progression system serves as a pillar of replayability, letting you shape strategies across dozens of missions in ways that feel fresh each time. While more modes could add variety, these shortcomings never diminished my experience, and with virtually no motion sickness and constant moments that pushed me to adapt, Xlab Digital’s IRON Guard: Salvation stands tall as one of the most rewarding VR strategy games on Meta Quest 3.”

Launch Window“Accepting your past and moving forward after great loss are universal messages. Those messages are the heart of the adventure Once Upon a Puppet expresses. Drev and Nieve's journey, despite having some loose threads here and there, tells a powerful story utilizing solid platforming, strong presentation, and charming characters you grow to care for.”

Late Review“Nova Drift is a love letter to classic space shooters, modernized with rogue-lite depth and near-infinite build variety. Its tight controls, diverse enemies, robust Gear and Mod systems, and dynamic Challenge Modes—especially the game-changing Wild Metamorphosis—keep you hooked. Although the classic feel can sometimes be its downfall in some instances, with no global leaderboard curbing long-term engagement. It’s a niche game, even for a rogue-lite, but a must-play for old school fans or even gamers looking for a rogue-lite that doesn't have many comparisons. It isn't visually or sonically flashy, and it can get a bit repetitive at times, but it's a great game that knows what it wants to be and delivers a fair yet challenging experience that rewards skill and strategic build crafting.”

Late Review“In the end, BLADECHIMERA stands as a testament to Team Ladybug’s evolution—a departure from their traditional Metroidvania roots that is satisfyingly unique. Sure, the early ease and lighter platforming might not fully satisfy hardcore genre purists, but it builds into an excellent experience with razor-sharp combat, pixel-perfect visuals, and a narrative that sneaks up on you with surprising depth. The neon-lit streets of its cyberpunk Osaka, drenched in Japanese occult lore, brings the experience to life, accompanied by an energetic soundtrack that encapsulates it further. Lux and Shin’s bond delightfully brings together your playthrough with rewarding gameplay and narrative beats. It’s a game that is great for a quick playthrough but further rewards you if you choose to dive deeper into its side content, leaving a lasting impression either way. For fans of the studio or anyone seeking a finely crafted action platformer, BLADECHIMERA wholeheartedly proves to be a worthy investment.”

Late Review“MudRunner VR on the Meta Quest 3 offers a challenging, immersive off-road simulation but falls short in key areas. The realistic vehicle handling and terrain physics are impressive, but clunky controls, dated visuals, and movement restrictions prevent it from reaching its full potential. If you’re a hardcore fan of MudRunner or love slow-paced, realistic simulators, you might overlook the game’s flaws and enjoy what it offers. However, if you’re looking for a polished and fluid VR driving experience, you may find the awkward movement system, lack of manual interactions, and steep learning curve frustrating. For off-road sim fans, MudRunner VR could be worth checking out. For general VR players, however, you can find better driving experiences elsewhere.”

Late Review“Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is a very satisfying experience. It does not drag on too long, nor does it wrap up too quickly. The combat feels uniquely presented and flows well. With tons of enemy and boss variety, alongside the beautiful locales and fleshed-out characters that accompany Momo throughout. Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is very worth your time and money. I am already excited about playing through it again to see how much faster I can get through it. I very rarely feel attracted to replaying anything, but this game's journey is worth seeing through multiple times, and I can guarantee you will feel the same.”

Late Review“Overall, Wayfinder as a game saw a very transformative change throughout its early access. Airship Syndicate no doubt did not anticipate having to change a live service MMORPG to a fully functional and fun-to-play ARPG, however. The work that was put into adding multiple layers of build crafting depth, several large locations with lots to do and see. As well as a staggering variety of wayfinders, weapons, enemies, and bosses all wrapped in a beautifully simplistic art style is easily recommendable. Especially at its very low price tag. It is worth every penny, as it was to play every second that I did throughout its early access and many forms.”

Launch Window“Flint Treasure of Oblivion is a game with ambitious ideas that are undermined by uneven execution. Its blend of tactical combat, exploration, and storytelling has the potential to shine, but the lack of depth, polish, and accessibility hold it back. The visuals and soundtrack do add some glimmer of hope at times and fans of pirate-themed adventures may find moments of enjoyment. So if that is you, then I may give the game a whirl. But for new players to this style of play, it might be better to walk the plank.”

Late Review“When it comes to Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast it started as a weird experience. It took a while before I felt anything for the game, and that doesn't usually happen for me. I didn't start feeling anything till about two or so hours in about anything. However, it does offer a moderately enjoyable experience, especially for fans of the series. But it doesn’t stand out in the crowded RPG landscape. Its tactical gameplay can be fun but is hindered by clunky mechanics and uneven difficulty. While it captures the essence of the Goblin Slayer universe, the game ultimately feels like a missed opportunity to deliver something truly memorable.”

Late Review“Capes is not an experience I can recommend. I liked most of the story, but the gameplay was very middling with missions and bosses that could either just be enjoyable, or straight-up frustrating or confusing. The game runs flawlessly, but there is so much stuff not up to par with what can be enjoyed by those who are not in a hardcore genre demographic. It just could not save the day in the ways I was hoping.”

Launch Window“As a fan of 3D platformers, it was a treat playing through Evil Raptor's Akimbot. Despite minor performance woes and a lack of weapon variety, my experience playing Exe and Shipset’s big adventure was enjoyable. Polished 3D platforming mixed with good gunplay, an enjoyable narrative, and a ton of polished gameplay variety, Akimbot is a platformer anyone who loves the PS2 era Ratchet or Jak games should not miss. I hope that Exe and Shipset can take off on another adventure in the future.”

Late Review“Despite some technical hiccups, We Never Yield is a simple, yet enjoyable, auto-runner. Its sleek presentation, art style, and phenomenal soundtrack are the true stars of the show. We Never Yield doubles the first game in every aspect and then some.”
