Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition enhances the beloved life-simulation game with improved visuals, faster loading times, and smoother overall performance. The relaxing gameplay loop of island building, customization, and daily activities remains as charming and addictive as ever. While the core experience is unchanged, the technical improvements make this version the most comfortable way to play. It’s an easy recommendation for both newcomers and returning players looking to revisit their island paradise.

BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is a psychological horror experience that tackles the darker side of social media, bullying, and self-image through a surreal and unsettling narrative. Its atmosphere, symbolism, and story themes stand out as the game’s strongest elements, creating moments that feel both disturbing and emotionally grounded. However, repetitive exploration, simple puzzles, and occasionally frustrating chase sequences hold the experience back from reaching its full potential. Despite its flaws, the game’s ambition and message make it a memorable indie horror journey.

The Last Case of John Morley offers a short and atmospheric detective story with strong sound design, moody environments and escape room style puzzles that recreate a twenty year old murder case. The investigation is very linear with a lot of guidance and the production has some rough edges such as inconsistent visuals, clunky menus and odd lock mechanics. Despite these issues, the narrative stays engaging and delivers a solid three hour mystery adventure for fans of simple and immersive investigations.

NASCAR 25 delivers a serious, authentic racing experience from iRacing Studios. The career mode now begins in lower tiers and requires real effort to climb to the top, while the on-track physics and opponent behavior shine in simulation-style realism. Some of the management systems and online features feel shallow or under-developed, and the journey is more grind than spectacle — but the foundation is strong.

Ultimately, it is precisely this blend of modernity and nostalgia that makes the experience so special. We rediscover sensations reminiscent of our childhood, while exploring a world that is richer and darker than it appears. Because let's be clear: despite its innocent appearance, The Edge of Allegoria is not a game for children.

Gaucho and the Grassland is not your typical farming simulator. It has a strong cultural identity, a respect for folklore, and a gentle atmosphere that make it unique in its genre. It's rare to have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world so steeped in Latin American traditions, and in this respect, it's a great success. However, its limitations are clear. The repetitiveness of the quests, the lack of clarity of certain objectives, and the numerous technical bugs prevent the game from shining in all its glory. Its charm, sincerity, and cultural richness are more than enough to justify diving into it, especially if you like this kind of game. You just have to accept the limitations of the experience.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is a confirmation for the license. The game refines the formula of the first episode, corrects its flaws, and offers a richer, more intense, and more credible experience. You can feel both the routine of a firefighter and the adrenaline rush of fighting fires. Of course, not everything is perfect. The fire station sometimes lacks life, a few technical details remind us that this isn't a AAA game, and the narrative content remains limited. However, as soon as you put on your uniform and hear the crackling of the flames, you won't be able to tear yourself away. Fans of immersive simulations will definitely get their money's worth.

Street Fighter 6 on Nintendo Switch 2 is far from a simple copy-and-paste: it cleverly adapts to the console and offers a number of welcome additions, such as Amiibo compatibility and handheld play. It's a pleasure to be able to take such a rich fighting game everywhere with you, provided you invest in a Pro controller to fully enjoy the experience. Despite the overall fluidity, we regret that World Tour mode is limited to 30 FPS, and the rather high price of this version is likely to discourage many, especially considering the additional cost of the Amiibo.

Ressources Inhumaines : Une Machination Littéraire is a short narrative adventure that's well worth the detour, especially if you like emotionally charged interactive experiences. With its disturbing narrative, singular characters and often heartbreaking moral choices, the game leaves no one indifferent. It stands out as a biting satire of the world of work and corporatist excesses, supported by meticulous writing and a controlled atmosphere. A highly enjoyable work on the borderline between video games and literature.

It's fair to say that Cash Cleaner Simulator isn't afraid to dare, with a game focused on cleaning up dirty money (in every sense of the word). The title attracts attention thanks to its atypical concept, which manages to deliver a pleasant experience for several hours. The artistic direction is a success, both visually and sonically. It's fun, it's relaxing, and there's an almost meditative satisfaction in the act of cleaning money. However, once the novelty wears off, the game shows its limitations. It lacks variety, its narrative is too discreet, and the progression curve quickly stagnates. There's still room for improvement to make the title a complete experience. I recommend the game to fans of the genre who aren't afraid to wait for updates.

Crashlands 2 brilliantly combines exploration, management and humor. A feat once again achieved by the Butterscotch Shenanigans team. The universe is vast, the story rich, and the game mechanics offer a wide variety of activities that keep the player engaged for several hours. Despite a few shortcomings related to the clarity of objectives and text overload, the title remains a captivating and entertaining experience, ideal for those who enjoy adventure games where creativity is rewarded. It's not always easy to make a sequel, but the challenge has been met!

Out of the Park Baseball 26 is once again a more than complete experience for MLB and management fans. The title continues to refine without changing a formula that works. From now on, I hope the franchise can continue its evolution by increasing its accessibility. Offered only in English and with a user interface that's sometimes messy, it's not easy to attract players. It remains to be seen whether these aspects will be improved in the future.

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator offers a rather complete experience for those wishing to discover a little more about the profession. Accidents are varied, while the fictional city offers realistic environments. However, routine quickly sets in, despite the integration of large-scale events. The experience system requires you to complete a series of missions with no real objective behind them in order to access all the content. Not to mention the fact that, for the time being, technical problems prevent us from enjoying a fluid experience. It's hard to recommend the game in its current state. Nonetheless, I hope the developers come up with fixes and new content soon. Something they have already demonstrated on their previous production.

Farming Simulator 25 is a logical continuation of the franchise. This opus offers improved visual management, new crops, animals and two new maps. With its GPS system, the series takes a big step towards accessibility, and tasks on our farm are much less tedious. Nevertheless, this edition doesn't reinvent the wheel, and series regulars may even feel that some new features are missing. Not to mention the fact that, even at the time of writing, there are still plenty of technical problems to contend with. The game remains a benchmark in the field, but may not be the revolution some players were expecting.

My discovery of Karate Survivor began with a simple demo, only to be followed by enormous enjoyment of the final version. Available at a low price, the title manages to stand out considerably from other games in the genre. Fans of these experiences can enjoy complete immersion in the action films of the 80s. While there may be a few frustrations regarding the accuracy of our shots, the developers are already making regular corrections at the time of writing. Rather short for regular players, the experience remains more than fun and should appeal to a good number of gamers.

The abandonment of the older-generation console versions does allow NHL 25 to be more fluid in terms of gameplay. The reactive actions are a good idea and add a little more realism, although they still need to be balanced. Overall, and despite the additions to the franchise world, the experience remains rather similar to last year's edition. Which is not always a fault. Certain details can, however, be quickly implemented without requiring several weeks of development (such as the ability to switch cinematics to Be a Pro mode). All of which would really improve the series. All in all, I'd recommend the purchase to those who may have skipped the last opus in the franchise, or if you love managing your team.

Tactical Breach Wizards shines with its charming, laid-back approach to the tactical genre. While not the most demanding game in terms of challenge, it leaves plenty of room for players to shape their experience as they wish. The dynamic progression system and skill flexibility encourage creativity, while allowing each player to develop unique strategies in the face of enemies. This title, while approachable and accessible, especially for those short on time, also has a promising future thanks to the integration of user-generated content. Tactical RPG fans will find here a refreshingly modern experience, rooted in a wacky and irresistible sense of humor, but above all imbued with a rare sincerity.

Pyrene is studio Two Tiny Dice's second project, and it's fair to say that the team seem to have mastered their subject. The gameplay perfectly blends deckbuilding and roguelike to offer an addictive experience without being inaccessible. On the contrary, numerous access and power options offer variety and ensure that all players can enjoy themselves. The game can be criticized for a scenario that sometimes remains a little too on the surface, and for a rather short lifespan (for its main campaign), but it clearly can't be blamed for not offering a breath of fresh air to the genre. If you're looking for a varied and fun experience, this independent production is definitely worth a look.

Despite my “slow day” worries, I really enjoyed Été. The game is zen-like and relaxing. You never feel rushed to complete your missions. The people you meet are jovial and smiling (except for the grumpy customer at the bagel store). The city is beautiful, colorful and lively. The game's music is soft and intoxicating. It blends perfectly with the watercolor visuals and the zen spirit you feel while playing. In short, it's the perfect game to play... in summer!

F1 Manager 24 is without doubt the most accomplished opus in the franchise. Whether in terms of its artificial intelligence or the addition of team creation, the title surpasses its predecessors. Even if a few elements can still be perfected, Frontier Developments is listening to its community. The developers seem to want to do things in the right order, offering enough novelty without denigrating what has been done well before. Fans are in for an excellent management experience!
