Launch Window“As a whole, I found Crashlands 2 to deliver that quirky, beautiful and engaging isometric survival experience I always wanted. I enjoyed the first one quite a lot, but I can happily say this new one blows it out of the water. The plot is great, the game is easy to get into, and there’s plenty of replay value, along with some cool end-game activities you can do over and over.”

Launch Window“Even with revamped visuals and combat, Crashlands 2's take on the genre sits comfortably next to its predecessor. It doesn't particularly innovate, and some elements feel rough, but it can offer a less intense sandbox experience.”

Launch Window“"Innovative, vibrant, and highly engaging." Crashlands 2 offers an exciting adventure and crafting experience, and the sequel proves itself to be a mature and refined sequel that surpasses the first in every way. The world is filled with quirky characters and delightful details, and the crafting system is intelligently integrated as the player progresses. While combat isn't the game's strongest element, it's supported by customization and strategic options that add welcome depth.”

Launch Window“Crashlands 2 offers a smooth experience in both combat and crafting, and while simple, the battle system engaging and strategic fights thanks to the use of dodging and reading enemy attack patterns. The setting is enhanced by vibrant art direction and a memorable soundtrack, making planetary exploration genuinely enjoyable.”

Launch Window“Crashlands 2 has been worth the wait, especially for those who want a simple crafting and farming game that can be played on an iPhone or PC. Its tongue-in-cheek charm, dubstep silliness, and approachability make it worth playing for hours on end…so long as you get past its initial learning sluggishness.”

Launch Window“Crashlands 2 is full of character and lets players explore and progress on a strange alien world completely at their own pace and in their own way. While the combat can feel a little stat-checky, and early progression can be slow, players should generally enjoy Crashlands 2 for all the freedom and creativity it offers.”

Early Review“Crashlands 2 brilliantly combines exploration, management and humor. A feat once again achieved by the Butterscotch Shenanigans team. The universe is vast, the story rich, and the game mechanics offer a wide variety of activities that keep the player engaged for several hours. Despite a few shortcomings related to the clarity of objectives and text overload, the title remains a captivating and entertaining experience, ideal for those who enjoy adventure games where creativity is rewarded. It's not always easy to make a sequel, but the challenge has been met!”
