Late Review“Avoid Liberté like a one-way ticket to the Guillotine. Instead, if you want to experience the French Revolution, read a book instead. It will be more interactive, the loading times will be much improved, and the graphics will probably be better too.”

Late Review“Lacklustre gameplay and a dull aesthetic means that Liberté is a far from revolutionary entry in the genre.”

Late Review“There's nothing massively wrong with Liberté, but everything it does has been done better somewhere else.”

Late Review“Superstatic offers a very interesting rogue-lite with a context that fits perfectly (despite its paranormal mysteries). The combination of action gameplay with isometric view and card-based skill set building makes it unique.”

Late Review“Naturally, when I stumbled upon ‘Liberté’, developed by Superstatic and published by Anshar Publishing, I was intrigued. A deck-building roguelike set during the French Revolution with a supernatural twist sounded right up my alley. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed pretty quickly, even though there are some solid ideas here.”

Late Review“Despite its strengths, Liberté does have a bit of a learning curve, especially for those who are new to the deck-building genre. However, the tutorial is really easy to follow and the difficulty increases gradually, which makes it easy for both newbies and experienced players to get into the game. In a nutshell, Liberté is an awesome deck-builder roguelite that takes you on a thrilling journey through the French Revolution.”

Launch Window“Liberté is a complex yet excellent fusion of multiple genres and incorporates, The French Revolution, H.P. Lovecraft, Roguelite, Deck Building, and Top-Down strategy into its design. This strange mishmash is what gives the game such allure and keeps players coming back for more. The game is very mechanic-heavy and can take some time to get used to, but once you get the hang of everything, you will get to experience a game like no other.”

Launch Window“Liberté has many interesting ideas, and one that with time could become something good, or maybe even great. But for now there's simply too much missing to recommend it.”
