Don't judge a book by its cover. Escape From Ever After hides a depth that many “adult” games would love to have.

I AM FUTURE could be more appealing with a little restraint in its approach. Throwing all its possibilities at us ....

Da la sensación que Ayasa: Shadows of Silence es un proyecto todavía en desarrollo, en el que limar muchas cuestiones que tiene que ver con el aspecto jugable.

Anima: Gate of Memories I & II Remastered does just enough to prevent a 2016 game from bringing tears to our eyes. The improvements in resolution and graphics allow us to enjoy a game with an accessible length (about 15 hours + 10 hours of DLC) and considerable depth in terms of gameplay.

The children's storybook aesthetic used to present the game is a clear statement of intent, ensuring that the main mechanics do not detract from the fable. The survival video game layer is not very complicated, and it is possible to go days without going home or sleeping, if you organize yourself well.

I get the feeling that the ingredient in Sopa – Relato de la Papa Robada is, or was, the first (ingredient and part) of a larger story. That's why it's a story where the pace doesn't match what it's telling.

Wander Stars could be just another good Shounen anime. An anime with all the typical plots, memories of the protagonists' past, epic battles, and filler episodes.

All these technical limitations are compensated for by a design that is very much in keeping with the story. Friendly characters and lots of dialogue and subplots that have nothing to do with the main story but enrich the folklore...

Fans of the genre will find Somber Echoes to be a very light Metroidvania game.

Time has proven The House Of Davinci right. It has two more sequels (in Bundle with the first one on Xbox) and a spin off in progress. And it is that this game is nice to pass it. It does not last too long and is not very complicated, the linearity of its puzzles makes the story flow depending on our ability to solve the puzzles. Perhaps too linear with almost no puzzles crossed with another that involves a challenge or Eureka effect that are so sought after in these games. It's like going to an escape room very well set. It's been a while since I've sat down to enjoy a puzzle game as relaxed as this one. The tranquility that gives the challenge itself, independent of external agents such as trophies or time trials is what is most valued. The complexity of the puzzles depends only on the attention, however convoluted they are (and they are) the engineer's logic prevails, without overheating the brain. It exploits it but you don't find frustrating situations that make you give up.

Pocket Bravery could have been released on Neo Geo and succeeded. The design of the heads may make it look like a minor game, like those of the Pocket, but these caricatures hide a combat system at the height of a more appropriate proportions. It's the return of a Marvel VS Campcon with modern day technology. It is not the gateway for new players.

CarGo! gets what it wants. It is a very fun game to play with friends, as long as you can get together on the same couch. If not, the single player option may be fine but the formula is not created for that. At this point multiplayer should be mandatory to be able to squeeze the game, as well as an online scoreboard. The phases are very measured but they lack, in addition to a greater number, a more extensive development of some mechanics that are very well thought out. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

With Shadows of the Orient they have captured a spirit that seemed forgotten, and with mechanics such as the ability to acquire skills by forcing exploration, they add a modern element that reinforces replayability and the desire to improve beyond reaching the final boss.

S.Prysm Destroyer is a very fun game and the Run 'n gun mechanic works perfectly. It's very entertaining to try to get your score up and see your name at the top of the world rankings. But that doesn't take away from its shortcomings.

Alter Age a game that will not enter through the eye, not because it is a retro aesthetic (far from it) but because everything you see smells generic, the spaces are repetitive, the Npc are almost all the same, even the number of enemies is quite limited.

Snezhinka and Murfasha are the same game. Only the story changes, there is really nothing wrong with it because the action part is very fun. This, along with the variety of weapons, skills and companions, makes it bearable to repeat the story with all its variants. That and the fact that this mode is very short. Even so, it is not very challenging in this mode. Luckily there is the challenge mode (excuse the redundancy), which makes it a very addictive pastime for downtime.

Recall: Empty Wishes is a visual novel with a rather trite premise, but with a story and structure that keeps you in the game. Its point and click also helps to be more involved in the story, but the extreme simplicity of all interactions makes you think that it is just a hook to keep reading, again only in English. We must keep an eye on the issue of translations... Those who enjoy visual novels will find here a good short story, very hard.

Techno Banter will probably be easy for many. Of course, you have to have some degree of English or German to play the game, which is not translated. Responding to attacks is easy when you are given the answers, and it misses a little ambiguity in the replies, it is quite clear what are the correct ones. Other than that, the setting, story and characters that inhabit Rainbow Drive are worth exploring. Because this is about much more than just making the best club in town, rather than mere cutscenes. It has many layers to its story and surprise mechanics that, like good role-playing, can be seen if you get deep enough.

A rather original approach to Roguelite with a friendly and fun design. In its normal mode there is a stress that could be part of the game if it wasn't compounded by the problem of the controller controls.
