Launch Window“This is a confident noir point-and-click that excels in mood and world-building, even if it sometimes struggles to keep its focus.”

Late Review“I Hate This Place isn’t a bad indie game, but it’s a frustratingly uneven one, with strong atmosphere undercut by clunky mechanics and technical hiccups”

Launch Window“Kejora’s gorgeous art can’t mask a clunky, buggy core that feels undercooked and frustrating far more often than it is enjoyable.”

Launch Window“Pathologic 3 is a deliberately abrasive survival experience that blends detective work, time management, and psychological pressure into something uniquely unsettling. It’s rough around the edges and often frustrating by design, but for players willing to engage with its systems on their own terms, it offers a bleak, rewarding experience few games dare attempt.”

Early Review“StarRupture shows genuine promise, but its Early Access release struggles with sparse world design, limited enemy variety, and missing quality-of-life features.”

Launch Window“At £30 on Steam, the asking price is frankly absurd. You’re getting one repetitive mechanic, no real innovation, and a loop that runs out of steam (no pun intended) within an hour. Dreams of Another could have been an intriguing little experiment, but it’s a one-trick pony that never justifies its cost or concept.”

Launch Window“Given the small team behind this project, there’s a clear enthusiasm and love for survival horror that shines through in blood-soaked glory. While it is a bit rough around the edges, and is certainly not without its issues – difficulty and level balancing notwithstanding – Heartworm is a decent ride while it lasts”

Late Review“At a budget price point, it’s easy to forgive the rough edges, especially if you’re craving that old-school feeling of dread and discovery. If you can tolerate some frustrating boss fights and uneven polish, there’s a lot to admire here — and Red Soul Games are absolutely a team to watch for the future.”

Launch Window“Fast, high-octane action and an addictively moreish premise; Haste is an experiment that really shouldn’t work but absolutely does. It’s certainly not perfect, but what’s here makes this one of 2025’s best arcade games so far.”

Early Review“While Your House doesn't live up to its boast of "blurring the lines between genres", it is a compelling visual novel with a decent enough story and some great puzzles along the way. If you're after a gripping mystery to tide you over for an afternoon or two, this one's certainly worth checking out.”

Launch Window“Mini City: Mayhem isn’t a bad little city builder but it’s not a particularly great title either. The patchwork of influences have been done better elsewhere – namely in Tetris, Islanders and SimCity – but its simplicity and familiarity make it an easy game to pick up and play. For its cheap asking price this is worth checking out if you’re a city building fan, but don’t go in expecting anything revolutionary here.”

Launch Window“Project Tower is ultimately a mish-mash of different ideas that never synergies into a compelling experience. The morphing mechanic is severely under-utilized, and while the boss fights are a definite highlight, there’s just not enough here to recommend as anything but a Returnal clone gone wrong.”

Early Review“Spirit Mancer is definitely a blast to play though but it's not without its problems. The game is undoubtedly a bit unbalanced given how easily the mechanics can be exploited, while rewards for combat feel disappointingly sparse compared to searching for chests and using the Adventure Guild. Balancing issues aside, if you're after a simple, challenging and enjoyable hack'n'slash, Spirit Mancer is a lot of fun and well worth your time.”

Launch Window“While We Wait Here is an interesting indie game and despite its short length, plays with some bold ideas. For its cheap price, this one is definitely worth a few hours’ playtime, but it never quite does enough with its ideas to make for a wholly satisfying experience.”

Late Review“Minor narrative gripes aside, NeverAwake is a surprisingly great twin shooter. It's a fun, chaotic and beautifully designed game that's well worth your time. This Indie gem is easy to pick up and difficult to put down; once you start though you'll be glad you did as this could prove to be one of 2023's best console games.”

Late Review“Freshly Frosted isn't the most innovative title of 2022, but it is easily one of the best puzzlers. It's armed with a simple premise, but the way the gameplay constantly evolves, along with a near-perfect difficulty curve throughout, makes this doughnut factory tick at every turn.”

Launch Window“If you can look past some of the frustrating puzzles and have a bit of patience with this, SHUT IN is a decent little game to shut yourself away with for a few hours.”

Launch Window“Hyper Scape ultimately falls within that realm of forgettable mediocrity; a mid-level battle royale player that never quite hits the top 20 spot but isn’t the first one eliminated either.”

Launch Window“Timelie is a complex, stealth-driven puzzle game that doesn’t just use its time mechanics as a gimmick, it integrates this into the very core of its gameplay.”

Early Review“If you’re a fan of Where’s Wally and other books where you have to scan the pages meticulously to find hidden items, Hidden Through Time is essentially the video game equivalent of this. It’s such an ingeniously developed game and this simplicity makes it the perfect Indie to sit back and relax with. It’s a great coffee break game to play between big blockbusters and one that certainly has a lot of scope to expand in the future.”
