A near‑perfect cozy mystery that nails character, voice acting, and pacing while keeping gameplay approachable and delightfully charming.

Developer Happy Broccoli Games certainly has something special going on with Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping. It’s smart and full of personality, easy to play, and it offers plenty of options that make it playable for even the youngest of armchair PIs. Also knowing that there’s a continuity between these games is even more enough to play more of them, which I most certainly will from now on.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a perfect follow up to the excellent debut episode, and offers more of the same hilarious crime fighting antics. Rightly or wrongly, the folks at Happy Broccoli Games haven’t taken any risks with this sequel, choosing to use the same tried and tested format to tell a brand new story for Eugene McQuacklin. The story may not be told quite as well this time around, but toting a host of new quirky characters, more witty dialogue, and the same playful visuals and voice-acting, returning fans are sure to love this tale of the otherworldly in the outdoors.

Outside of the small puzzle that still seems impossible - if someone knows how the correct order is found please tell me, I’m dying to know - the overall game was very enjoyable. The depth of the story never fails to surprise me with all the twists and turns. Duck Detective always knows how to turn anything into a mystery to solve. It’s amazing how Happy Broccoli Games has mastered the science of enjoyable cozy short games that are fun for all ages. I hope that they continue to create more Duck Detective stories. Especially because of that crazy cliffhanger at the end I don't know how they could stop now! If you’re looking for a short, playful, cozy detective game check out the Duck Detective series to help Eugene quack his next case.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a mystery game that executes everything they want to do to near perfection. It’s a fun, simple, and short palate cleanser game. Only downfall, if any, is that it’s executed so well, that I wish there were more. This is the second game to the Duck Detective series, and I am very much looking forward to the next one!

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a nice detective game that plays everything a little too safe. The idea of taking the hero out of the city is a good one and I like all the characters. Some very high stakes emerge later in the narrative that feel unearned, but I mostly like the light tone and the way characters interact with each other.

A satisfying and entertaining follow-up adventure that’s well-crafted, but shows no real growth either

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a very enjoyable little game that’s easy to recommend for anybody looking for a quick and fun experience. Still, it suffers from the same issues the last game had — it could be considered too short due to the fact that there’s only one case to solve.

The duck detective's second case is fantastic, and it's simply a joy to be able to enjoy a short, crisp, and entertaining detective adventure with many exciting elements. The fact that we can now play Eugene McQuacklin's investigations entirely in German is the icing on the cake.

All in all, the original Duck Detective was a wholesome, entertaining, totally charming bit of brilliance, and this stand-alone sequel does it justice.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping brings all the good things from the first game, with another great story, but decides to play it safe and not dare to create new things. So, we have another short game that leaves the feeling that it could have yielded a little more, despite its undeniable quality.

This short, sweet detective game is exactly that-short and sweet. With the ability to allow hints or turn hints off, you can increase the difficulty if you're a super sleuth, or keep it easy if you're looking to veg out. The cast of characters is vibrant, and the jokes are plentiful. Follow Detective Eugene McQuackin and find some not-so-hidden clues to help quack the case.

The Ghost of Glamping serves up a hard-boiled ghost story and plenty of cases that are a joy to quack open. If you like mysteries, no de-duck-tions are needed: you should try it out.

As a sequel, Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping repeats the dose of its predecessor, which means both that all the charm, enigmas and surprises are present, with deeper plot twists than it might seem at first glance, and that there is no innovation.

The Duck Detective is back, and his down-and-out personality is as wonderful as ever. Unfortunately, the mystery on offer here isn't quite as good as last time, but there are still plenty of pleasing puzzles and investigations to get your beak stuck into.

This time around the setting and story caught my attention a lot more, with a great variety of characters and puzzles to solve. Don’t go in expecting a complete revision of its predecessor making the ultimate experience, it is pretty much the same game but with a new coat of paint, but for me that’s all I really needed. I’ll always come back for more with Duck Detectives shenanigans!
