Launch Window“The Last Autumn is new but difficult. With more challenges to overcome and new systems to wrestle with, The Last Autumn manages to capture the exact same feeling of Frostpunk without feeling like it's rehashing old ground.”

Launch Window“The Last Autumn is the largest expansion of Frostpunk and it renews nearly everything ranging from buildings, technology to exploration and laws. You even can regard it as a brand new game. However, the ending is still as awkward as usual and it may ruin your mood.”

Launch Window“Frostpunk: The Last Autumn DLC takes everything you have learned while playing through the brutality of the base game and tweaks the formula just enough to bring you a new feeling of dread, loss, and despair while remaining true to the brilliant mechanics and narrative of the game.”

Launch Window“When ideas such as “survival” and “for the greater” good turns into vapid promises. All that’s left in The Last Autumn is tyranny. There is no way to avoid it. 11Bit Studios shows, once again, that there aren’t simple answers to complex issues. More management games should follow suit.”

Launch Window“All in all The Last Autumn is a fantastic addition, both in lore and in gameplay, to the Frostpunk base game; capable enough for newer players to jump in and get a solid feel for it while having more than enough content for seasoned players, The Last Autumn is worth every penny. While I would like to see better optimization in the long haul, The Last Autumn is still an engaging and gorgeous experience. Managing the new mechanics in lieu of managing your settlement's temperatures is smartly done, the new buildings are gorgeous and help with the overall narrative, and as its base game before it, provides players with a weird sensation of both relaxation and tension. The Last Autumn smartly expands the lore of Frostpunk and is a must-play expansion.”

Launch Window“The Last Autumn is the second expansion of the great management and survival game Frostpunk from 11 bit studio. Argumentally it acts as a prequel to the events that occurred in the base game, and playably reformulates all the parameters of this to create a new experience with new laws, new technologies, new parameters such as Motivation and Security, and a new objective, to build the generator on which the future will depend. If we liked Frostpunk, The Last Autumn won't let us down.”

Launch Window“From the mind-bending new premise and gameplay concept, to the masterful design in narrative and art, it is clear 11Bit did not hold back in favour of squeezing more money out of their players. The expansion improves upon the base game in ways I did not think possible, with brand-new laws and reworked research trees; a new set of buildings and new roles for engineers and workers; all the way through to incredibly voiced cutscenes and hand-drawn art. It also tells a whole new story about people who still think they have the upper hand over mother nature and her cold grasp.”
